"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

"Heel leuk huis. Dicht bij alles. Le bugue voor supermarkt. Heel mooi en groot zwembad. Alles is voorzien in de woning. We komen zeker terug en raden deze woning aan. "

"We loved our stay. The home was perfect for us and we ere able to walk everywhere. Traditional French workers cottage immaculate. It sleeps 6 but that wouldn’t b advisable as the space would.not be sufficient. The headspace going upstairs is low for those tall boys and the shower won’t hold two! It’s small but so is the space. Perfectly appointed. The owner so kind and accommodating. The online ad is run by their child so you have to communicate directly with the owner over the phone. 📞 old...

"After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

We used all the seating areas, the pool, the grassy garden with the adirondack chairs, the picnic table, the patio table right outside the kitchen. It was so fun. We all enjoyed it so much. The location was ideal! We rented E-Bikes from Libery-Cycle which were awesome. We rode all over the Dordogne Valley on the bike trails. We will recommend this place to all our friends and family. "The reception staff here was outstanding. I feel bad I lost the note with their names because they truly were exceptional. All four ladies that staffed the front desk in morning and evening were people who see hospitality as a calling not a job. They were kind, patient, gave us good directions, listened to our excitement and shared it. We stayed 5 days so we saw quite a bit of them. One day a large group came from Australia and I watched as one guest came down to complain the room was too hot and then next came down to complain the room was too cold. I marveled at how well the staff handled each situation. And when I asked for a chair in the room instead of an ergonomic ball, they made it happen right away. Room was bigger than most European rooms. There is laundry onsite if you need it. Breakfast was worth the price and there is beer and wine in the evening. It takes about 10 minutes to walk downtown and the parking garage was very tight - I feared those corners and preferred parking on the street. That aside though, I really compliment the staff and wish I could remember their names (Sara? Hannah?)!!"

"The property is in a great location. It’s clean, safe and quiet and has air conditioning. It is located in old town and just steps from the Central Square. The owners were great to work with. We had a room refresh in our extended. Stay in the cleaners. Did a great job. We also extended our stay last minute and they were able to rearrange rooms so we didn’t have to move. We would definitely recommend this property.. "

"This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! She even helped me with a laundry issue :) Natalie who checked us out was so helpful. She told us about a Chateau only 20 minutes away that we had almost missed! We were so grateful for her guidance. She even brought our bags down to the car! A couple of clarifications: there is no elevator so pack wisely! We brought a small bag so that we wouldn’t have too much trouble up the stairs. Also, the parking garage is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel but you need to call and ask where’s the best place to drop your bags before parking. The hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian street so no cars are allowed but it’s only a 5 minute walk to the enclosed and very safe parking garage. This was not a big issue for us. The hotel has such comfortable rooms and linens! We had a very comfortable stay and lots of options for restaurants, coffee and dessert very near by. Can’t wait to go back!"
