"Pleasantly surprised by this hotel and this town! We were looking for a stopping point from Newport before we flew out of Boston. Didn't realize this was newly remodeled and like new. Everything was so beautifully appointed and the highest of finishes and decor. My husband and I both agreed the owners spared no expense to put forth a simply gorgeous hotel to stay at. The downstairs (basement) room was amazing. bonus Nepresso coffee machine and filtered cold water. great relaxing areas throughout the whole basement area. We were so pleasantly pleased. Close by the Main Street where there are many shops and great restaurants. Pure enjoyment!"

"Staffing was good. The room had alot of spce and was clean. Air conditioner worked well. Room initially smells like chlorine due to the pool but after 5 minutes you dont notice it. The fridge is cold. The carpet in the hallways were visibly messy and something that can be resolved by vacuuming. I don't know how often it is vacuumed but every other day is my recommendation. Kids seem to really enjoy the pool area. The hot tub needs a new liner. That visable green just doesn't give me a good impression. I love that the laundry was free of charge and available. The metal trash bins need to be replace. They're rusting and it doesn't look pleasing. You need a bigger sign of the hotel outside. Overall, it is a good hotel and great location."

"The Junior Penthouse was very nice inside and spacious. The drawbacks were there was no full-length mirror. For people using the condos/penthouses for wedding stays this should be in the rooms. Another drawback was the tv - we wanted to watch the Patriots game on Channel 4 and you could not watch regular tv only pre-recorded shows. Otherwise the condo was very nice, the space was nicely decorated and it was clean. I would recommend staying here for wedding events, etc."

"The house is in a nice quiet and serene location. Host was welcoming and pleasant, and their dog was friendly. The yard is definitely pet friendly. That said, there were some scattered bugs and cobwebs in our room and bathroom, the bed was not quite comfortable, and the AC remote was confusing. Also note that there is a pet agreement and pet fee which was not mentioned in the listing.Would we return? Maybe. It might depend on what else was available in the area. We would definitely consider it."

"The property was perfect for my brother, sister, and me! The rooms were clean, cozy, and well appointed. While the bedrooms weren't huge, they were super comfortable—all three of us slept soundly on comfortable mattresses with fresh linens and comforters. We really enjoyed relaxing in the backyard with its idyllic setting right on the pond, complete with plenty of tables and chairs to hang out with friends and family.Our host, Debra, was fantastic! From the time I booked months ago, she was super responsive to all my questions and requests. She was incredibly welcoming and friendly without ever being intrusive. Having traveled a lot for both business and personal reasons before retiring, I can say this was by far the easiest check-in and check-out process I've ever experienced—truly as seamless a stay as you could ask for. Whenever we come back to the region, we'll definitely be staying at the Clear Pond Inn again. Thank you, Debra!"

"We enjoyed the beauty of the grounds and how much room our dog had to play in and relax in. The yard is large and completely fenced in. The trails along the property were an added bonus for us and our dog. Debbie was always available for questions about the area and helpful in finding a place for our cargo trailer. The close proximity to Plymouth made our vacation even more enjoyable. Our room was clean, comfortable, and bright. We would definitely stay there again."
