I retrieved the key however, the front door was already ajar. I pushed the door open and said Hello loudly. There was a man in pajamas eating cereal.. He only spoke Spanish. I left the premises and requested a refund immediately. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOME! Scam Alert!!!"

"The host, Wade, was pushy as to when we’d arrive and demanded to know. We didn’t have a plan so it felt intrusive. When we arrived, the house was NOT as it looks in these pictures. There were two cockroaches by the kitchen, fitted sheets loosely thrown over the couches, bedrooms with junk randomly placed, and it looked like a 3-year old made the beds. Wade promised a refund, but NEVER did. We got a hotel and it was worth every penny. This place is not fit for rental. I’d post pics if it let me....

"Luckily due to circumpstance we were able to stay with family in the area, so we did not stay at the rental. We were only there for about 30 minutes total. The inside was clean, but overall appeared only suitable as an adequate place to sleep. It was not as represented on VRBO. We could not locate a TV in any room and the living sofa/bed was not present. No towels and no curtains in one the bedrooms. The exterior was in a distressed condition. Nice surprise in Pinebluff, NC

"The hotel is an older building, but great care was taken with the refurb. The beds were so comfortable and the towels were really long and wide. The breakfast was a light meal, but would feed you. Staff was super friendly, even when I locked myself out and needed help at 11:00 pm. We plan to come back in August. "
