"The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Hotel rooms are above the restaurant so a bit noisy in the evening. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room but an automatic machine at the end of the corridor. Supplies were short most days so couldn't make hot drink anyway. Restaurant is not open for breakfast so you need to go elsewhere for food. Still a young hotel with new owners. Hoping this review gives them some feedback on what is still needed."

"What a beautiful hotel! Our room was absolutely picturesque, and the hotel grounds were breathtaking. A really interesting combination of old German charm with a modern flare. We ate in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and both meals were great. If I’m ever in the area again I will consider Gut Kump a must stay location. "

"Das es Hotels mit Kellerzimmern gibt, ist in meiner Wahrnehmung eher ungewöhnlich, in diesem Hotel gibt es sie. Grundsätzlich trotzdem sauber und standardmäßig ausgestattet, aber eben wenig Licht und Fenster nachts offen lassen ggf. auch nicht so gut. Hier wäre es echt gut, wenn wenigstens ein Fliegengitter installiert wäre. Sonst kommt ebenerdig alles in das Zimmer, was eben durch den Spalt bei gekipptem Fenster passt und neugierig ist, bzw. Appetit auf im Zimmer liegendes Obst hat..."
