About this property
XVIIIth Century fully renovated Provencal farmhouse in Maussane-les-Alpilles
Nestled on the South side of the Alpilles, in the locality of La Combe du Noyer, a gap in the hills leading to meadows and olive groves, the Cayols and Lambrusques Provencal farmhouse has just been fully restored in a balanced way between respect of the past and modernity. This XVIIIth Century Provençal farmhouse accommodated families who lived on sheep breeding and cultivation of olive trees, as the Marie Mauron family did, a regional writer born in Saint-Remy-de-Provence where you will find some of her works. A restauration definitely modern with the choice of natural material and equipment: floor heating/refreshing by dual heat pump; Italian kitchen, bedding and toilet, large comfort. And respectful of the past, the large volumes of the haylofts have been preserved, the Fontvieille Stone is enhanced, the traditional backdrop of this kind of habitat is kept intact.

Vast beaches around the swimming pool Wooden garden furniture with table and chairs

Great French house with a lovely salt pool. Pool temperature was perfect. Spectacular setting just outside of Mausanne (4 min drive / 30 min walk to town centre). Naturally cool stone house with excellent air conditioning in bedrooms. Adequate cooking facilities with lots of pots/pans/plates/glasses etc. Good gas bbq. Lots of outdoor seating & plenty of shade available. Perhaps a little basic for the price point but generally lovely. Bedding & towels all provided, all very clean & nice. Fast wifi & nice tv. Very kind of the person who checked us out to drive us to our next stop (a town 25 mins north). Overall really lovely stay!
An amazing location right in the alpilles, with a beautiful house with thick walls, beautiful pool, amazing stars at night. We spent 3 amazing weeks. Thanks!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Fantastisch complex
