"Really nice rooms in a lovely location in the village of Bonsall. All very clean and comfortable, and very accommodating. Breakfast was taken in the popular tea rooms attached, and it was good!"

"Room was nice and clean (except for some high altitude spider webs 😝). Only criticisms were the pump / boiler / macerator / mechanical device that was ‘kicking in’ each hour or so for a couple of minutes (felt like we were on top of it) and Biffa collecting the glass recycling at 05:30 on a Bank Holiday Monday morning…😣"

"A lovely and intimate place to stay. Room was clean and very comfortable, breakfast was amazing. A great location if you want to have some quiet time in the Derbyshire Dales and want to enjoy the outdoors. Canal just 2 minute walk which is great for bike rides abs walks. "

"beautiful house spotlessly clean, furnishings lovely. Everything you need in the kitchen loved the house. Downside steep hill into Matlock town centre but there are number of bars, pubs nearby. Great base for exploring the area. Would def recommend"
