"We had a wonderful stay at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the staff was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. Our room was very nice, clean, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. While the bed was a little softer than my personal preference, it certainly didn’t take away from our stay and isn’t something I’d count as a negative. The restaurant was outstanding. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and truly elevated the entire experience. It was the perfect complement to an already memorable getaway. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay—especially for a special occasion. We’re already looking forward to coming back."

"This was our second time spending Thanksgiving week at Woodland Retreat. We appreciate the overall cleanliness of the house. All the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The primary suite has plenty of room for baby’s portable crib. The downstairs bonus room is ideal for family movie night. The hosts are very kind and quick to respond to any questions. "

"Everything was clean and easy to use. Lots of space for different activities inside and out. Good location.Two small suggestions: It would have been nice to have had the porch light on when we arrived since it was a dark and rainy night. "Our family was in Stevensville for my nephew's wedding. When I saw this property on VRBO, I had to rent it. We had a special time here! Kyaking, canoeing, relaxing and swimming in the pool. This property is extraordinary with a novel vibe. Lots of outdoor space to hang out & explore (picnic tables, swings, firepit etc). The home is so unique and we all loved the different rooms, spaces & history of the home. Kitchen was perfect and the laundry was so nice to have available. We would definately come back - Glen was helpful, kind, and a subperb host! Pro-tip - if you are looking to eat steamed crabs or seafood, head to Fisherman's Crab Deck Kent Narrows about 5 miles away! Enjoy :)"

"We have rented multiple family houses for a week at a time in the past. This one exceeded them all in quality, cleanliness and enjoyability. The house and setting were ideal for the 7 of us who made the trip, with easy access to an area which offered plenty to do outside the house. Even with that said, the draw for us was the house which is large, comfortable, well-stocked and ready to enjoy from the first to the last moment there. Responsiveness of the host was really good, helping us navigate through just a couple of small issues in the first couple of days. When we returned home, we discussed this being the first rental at which we would have really enjoyed hanging around for a few more days. Thank you the ESVR for your attention to detail! "
