The best time to go to Massouri is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months. These periods offer ideal weather for outdoor activities, particularly rock climbing and hiking, which are very popular in the area.
During spring, the island is lush and green, with wildflowers in bloom, and the temperatures are pleasantly warm without being excessively hot. This makes it great for long days on the climbing crags or exploring the island's walking trails. The sea is also warm enough for swimming towards late spring.
Autumn provides similarly comfortable temperatures, and the sea remains warm from the summer heat, making it excellent for swimming and watersports. The main tourist season has begun to wind down, so the island is generally less crowded, allowing for a more relaxed experience.
While July and August are also popular, they can be very hot, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, which might be less comfortable for strenuous activities like climbing.
