"MelRose is such a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. It was a peaceful, beautiful oasis to come back to each day. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming - the dinning crew was exceptional. Perfect distance from Sorrento center and able to access anywhere easily - having a car was very useful. "

"What a lovely hotel, just close enough to Sorrento and Positano while being out of the way. The Junior suite was great, your own balcony and sun bathing area over looking Capri. The staff are so friendly and speak excellent English. Nothing is too much trouble. The attached restaurant is lovely with excellent food with very attentive staff. A real find of a hotel."

"We enjoyed the most beautiful view ever Fabiola and John were so helpful and great at the front desk. They offer us many stuff and explain where to go around the area we booked our stay breakfast included and we had to miss it due to a lot of excursion we took ,they offer us a bag to go, which we’ve never seen in any Other hotel and the breakfast area was full of all homemade plates and fresh fruit we We loved it and we highly recommend it"

"Have a great experience. Hotel was charming. Only thing I wish I knew was the shuttle runs every 2 hours so when we arrived by ferry, we had to take a taxi which was 80 euros. Otherwise a great trip to a darling area. "

"Absolutely beautiful property, staff were great. Dinner was awesome. Pool and gardens superb. Was lovely to get out of the tourist throngs to relax by the pool. The shuttle service is really convenient."

"We searched hotels for a few weeks before booking the Jaccarino. We must have looked at 40-50 hotels in the region before settling on this one and, after our week long visit, we were glad we did! The staff are superb, friendly and efficient while not being intrusive. The main areas, pool, bar and restaurants are all very nice places to be. The bed was comfortable and super clean each day. The WiFi was fast and the food and drink were both reasonably priced and very tasty! There are a number of great restaurants within a short (and mostly flat) walk and the free shuttle bus to Sorrento was clean, reliable and well driven. The whole place has an authentic 'Italian family' atmosphere (it is NOT a faceless corporate chain hotel) and the personal touch of the staff made us feel very welcome. Would we stay again and / or recommend to family and friends? Absolutely 'yes'! Oh, and one last thing, the view from the terrace, pool and some of the rooms is simply breathtaking!"
