"Great stay, staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Beautiful, walkable area. I would stay again! Only downside is Parking is slightly inconvenient as its not on the property but about 1-2 blocks away. If its busy its tricky to park for check in. "

"Tolles Haus mit schönem Ausblick. Toller Pool. Lage ist super. Für Kleinkinder ggf. nicht ideal aber wir hatten trotzdem eine schöne Zeit. Gastgeber stellte auch einen Hochstuhl. Sauberkeit war gut. Küchenausstattung war super. Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war spitze. Lediglich die Aufteilung der Badezimmer ist etwas ungünstig aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran (zumindest wenn man mit mehreren Leuten reist). Schlafzimmer sehr geräumig, aber etwas mehr Ablagefläche oder Hängeoptionen wären gut. Die Betten war super bequem. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr gute Zeit und konnten den Trip auch trotz Regenwetter dank der tollen Unterkunft genießen."

"Stayed for two nights. Location is nice with free bus connection to the city center. Service and front desk personell was friendly. Issues: - Property is worn down (except for the remodeled bathrooms). - Cleaning staff entered the room twice while still sleeping - ANTS! Minibar area and desk was clearly invaded by ants and even after complaining at the front desk, no action was taken / no alternative was offered to us (e.g. another room). Definitely an overrated and overpriced hotel for the experience offered. "

"Merano is a gorgeous mountain town. Aurora is right across the street from a famous thermal spa. The hotel has a helpful staff. Like so many places in Italy, it’s on a pedestrian street but they have an arrangement with a nearby parking garage and the parking just goes on your room charges."

"Castel Rundegg is an old fashioned hotel in the very best sense. It is a beautiful building in a most beautiful town, with comfortable public areas and spacious well appointed bedrooms. Those who are looking for discos and fast food options might choose elsewhere, but it does offer superb cuisine, stunning gardens and an old world elegance. It also boasts extensive pool, sauna and spa treatments. We look forward to returning there."
