The house was absolutely beautiful, with two living rooms and multiple bedrooms. It was larger than we had expected and we were really happy with our stay at the house. The kitchen was also well equipped.
…and great location! There is lots of room for family and friends and the beach and Market Place are within short walks. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.
The place is immaculate. So spacious and very lovely. The view of Dean’s Pond from the back deck is gorgeous and very relaxing. A short path to the Sound! The owner has thought of everything to make our stay wonderful and memorable.
We stayed at this property with our adult children and their partners over a five day period for my son's Cape Cod wedding. The house is very clean and was large enough to accommodate everyone with plenty of space for all to move around. We were there in the fall over Columbus Day weekend and the neighborhood was quiet. The back deck is large and since we were fortunate enough to have a few days of beautiful weather, we spent time on the deck enjoying an absolutely beautiful view. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved having the sheets and towels provided so that we did not have to haul them with us. Most importantly, the communication from the host was excellent! Would definitely return to this home and would recommend without hesitation.
We stayed at the property for a weekend wedding. Although the weather wasn’t great, it gave us more time to enjoy the property. The views were amazing and Paul was very responsive. We would definitely consider staying there again.
Our extended family has been going to Popponesset for years and we were in need of more space now that everyone has their own family and several kids (ages 1-15). This house provided ample space for our large group and the location was excellent for bike rides/walks to both the marketplace and community center. The daily walk to the beach was also easy given the beach cart and quality chairs provided with the house, and path access just at the end of the street. We would rent again!
This property is ideal for a family vacation. We stayed here with our grown sons and their families and it was the perfect lay out for everyone. The house is spotless and sunny. There are two large sitting areas that are nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need, and there is a very convenient laundry area. The deck has a lovely view of the pond and it is a quick walk to a safe, sandy beach. Everything you need for a great vacation! We will definitely return.
We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home for a before/after family wedding. The interior design was perfect for advance activities like steaming dresses, followed by hair and makeup, lots of which was photographed. Outside the both the river and porch were stunning backdrops.
Excellent spaces throughout for cooking, dining, and conversation.
With the white decor you’ll want to treat this home like your own preserving its elegance for the next visitors.
This is a lovely home just a few minutes walk to an uncrowded beach and the Marketplace for meals and shopping. Lots of room to spread out on two floors, a well supplied kitchen, outdoor shower and a nice deck for lounging and dining all made for a relaxing time. Sunrise on the deck and the sun glistening on the pond was magical. Paul was quick to respond to my questions.
Beautiful and spacious home, perfect for multigenerational vacation.
Our family, spanning 5 to 82 yrs old, travels to the Cape every summer for vacation. This house was perfect for everyone! The main floor had 3 bedrooms and the downstairs had 2 bedrooms. Our elderly members enjoyed single floor living while the younger family was downstairs. The adults enjoyed evening trips to the Raw Bar for some surprisingly powerful drinks (avoid food at the Mainstreet Cafe). Everyone LOVED the incredible beach with soft sand, gentle waves, and a long sandy walk-in perfect for young children and older family. We had tons of space and the house was meticulously maintained and well appointed.
The house was very clean and well-equipped. The property manager was easy to reach and we had no issues. Everything seems new and is in very good condition. The kitchen has new appliances and stone countertops.
The location is nice and quiet. A pleasant deck overlooks the pond and has a motorized awning to provide shade from the afternoon sun. The beach is a reasonably short walk along a footpath and across a short wooden footbridge leading to Shore Drive. The
Marketplace and Popponesset Inn are also within walking distance. We appreciated having a cart and beach chairs, and enjoyed swimming and sitting on the beach. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing time. We highly recommend and would rent here again.
This house was exactly like the pictures, looked better in person! We had 8 adults staying here, it was more than comfortable for all. They have an extra room downstairs with 2 twin beds that we didn’t use. Upstairs had 3 bedrooms - I very big w/bathroom the other 2 were small but did have queen beds, they share a bathroom. The bedroom downstairs is very big and has a great living area and access to backyard. Nice if people wanted seperate areas. The 1st floor living space was great- the kitchen was well stocked - we cooked breakfast 2 days and also 1 dinner. The outdoor deck is beautiful- 8 chairs. Indoor table big enough for at least 10 and living space was great. Location was good - we stayed in September and many of the stores were closed in the markets. The only thing that seemed strange to me is they changed our checkout time to 9:30 last minute and also they wanted us to wash dry and fold all the towels prior to leaving at 9:30. I sent a note to mgr saying that would be difficult to get done and that I’ve never done that before in a rental and I requested a later checkout or to not wash dry and fold the towels the response I received said we could either bring our own towels or do their process and leave at 11. Everything else was perfect with the house, but we all found that odd. We chose the later checkout- and during 2nd load went to get coffee upon return the cleaners were in house, we never got to fold last load & they didn’t care….
The property is amazing; the location is perfect… a quick walk to the beach. Towels, chairs, etc all available .We loved the deck overlooking the pond, and inside the property was pristine.
We where the first group to stay at the house. It was an amazing location. You could walk from the beach and to the marketplace. I fished right in the back yard. I would say the highlight of the property was the outdoor shower. Just take the kids down and hose them off. Made the transition from beach to dinner easy.
