"Everything was beautiful. We were there for six nights. We are particular, especially when it comes to cleanliness. As former owners of several vacation rentals ourselves, we understand the need to maintain the property. Jostein succeeded in meeting our high standards. My only concern for us was the access to the house from where we parked. It’s a steep grassy path down to the house which when wet (which it was) can be slippery. In all fairness, we are seniors and it may not be a problem for younger ones. But steps to the house would have helped us a lot. Overall, excellent property. "
"The bed was huge, a little too big for the size of the room but the room was clean. The room was cute, kind of the old village style atmosphere. The view of the lake was beautiful and the complimentary breakfasts were "delightful"! Ginger shots, caviar, and fresh fruit smoothies daily. It's about 40 miles from the city which is a challenge for taxi service but the staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed my stay."
"We came to attend a friend's wedding and we picked this place because it was 5 minutes from the church. It was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful rural view. The host accommodated us by providing a clothes iron when asked. The only negative was that there was no microwave. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. "
