"Gated, just a block or so from the water (although hill is steep.) Everything we could have needed was provided in the kitchen, including basics like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar. No soap or shampoo in the shower, though. Know that the toilet is, like the bedrooms, accessible off the back wall of the open air living space, not directly accessible from the bedrooms, which have a shower and sink each. When the description says "shower only", it literally means the shower and the sink, no toilet....

"Wir waren zu 8 in der Villa Nona und der Platz war mehr als ausreichend (1 Zimmer war noch frei). Das Haus ist großzügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Garten mit Pool ist groß und schön. Besonders gut war der große Eßplatz im Garten unter einer Plane, der für alle Mahlzeiten genutzt werden konnte. Der Ort St. Pierre ist nicht sehr touristisch und wir haben das "normale" Leben auf Martinique erlebt."

"It was a lovely stay in this holiday home, near the bars, restaurants and shops of St. Luce. Although a lot of the spots seems permanently closed (due to the Covid crisis of the last years?). The house offers a panoramic view on the environment and the sea of St. Luce and has a nice tropical garden with an amazing swimming pool. It indeed even seems better than at the site pictures... :-) There are two nice climatized rooms and a 'tropical' style atmosphere in the living room and the parlor......

"The house was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents. It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the welcome food and snacks were much appreciated as we arrived on a holiday and stores were unexpectedly closed. The location and views were amazing! "Les gouvernantes étaient très accommodantes, nous avons manqué de rien. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient toujours soigneusement nettoyées. La réception a répondu à toutes nos demandes. Le jardinier a gentiment soufflé les feuilles du terrain de tennis à notre demande. Toute l’équipe nous a servie avec courtoisie et sourire. Le site est agréable avec un très beau jardin et un magnifique paysage de la mer et Fort de France au loin. C’est aussi situé tout près village avec restos et petites boutiques. La plage est magnifique, très peu de vagues et l’eau est propre. Nous y retournerons avec les enfants. "

"This is a reasonable priced, quiet and well maintained hotel/hostel located between the international airport and city centre of Fort de France. It took me just over an hour to walk to central Fort de France and the ferry terminal. The hotel has plenty of free secure parking for guests. My room was clean and spacious with a balcony offering a nice view of Mount Pelee. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was efficient, the wall mounted TV had several channels and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom was large with excellent water pressure and copious amounts of hot water. The wifi reception was excellent. The hotel staff were all courteous, professional and English speaking. Breakfast was included for guests and it had lots of variety. The food available was fresh and delicious. The restaurant located on the main floor beside reception had excellent food during the set hours for lunch and dinner. The hotel was very quiet overnight so I always enjoyed a good night’s sleep. All in all this was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Fort de France."
