My suite was perfect for my needs. Very clean and comfortable. I will stay again if i get the chance to come back this way. Thank you so much for providing a clean and affordable place to stay!
After staying in multiple hotels it was a pleasure to have a spot that felt like a mini apt minus the kitchen. Very quiet place & looking out it felt like you had your own yard. Lovely!
Loved our stay here. It was a cute little cottage with a comfy bed and plenty to watch on TV. We ran out of coffee and they delivered us extras immediately. Communication was easy and friendly. Will stay here again!

Wow it was cute , clean , perfect place to stay! Had absolutely no problems checking in our out and absolutely pleased with the place! Definitely recommend to anyone going there !
I was in town for an event at the fairgrounds and found the Dickey House, which was cheaper than the main hotel in town. I was alone as my wife fell illThis was a nice place to stay, clean and as pictured. I didn't have much time to appreciate the property, but there was a binder with information about its history, as well as about local establishments. Getting to the Garden Suite involved a walk through the backyard garden, which was nice. The room has a big tub with jets. I didn't use that, but there is also a full bathroom with a shower. The only thing that was a bother is that the bathroom door is louvered, which doesn't offer much privacy or sound reduction (*ahem*) if you're not staying alone. This is a style choice; not a big deal in a single room, but not one I would choose. Any other complaints aren't within control of the owner but they were part of my stay so I'll share them: The TV turned on twice on its own. I think this is due to someone connecting with their phone, rather than anything spooky. I unplugged it after the 2nd time.Traffic in the area is loud. The locals seem to like open pipes at night. Train tracks run next to the property, close enough to vibrate the room. I only remember 1 train going by though, so no big deal. The best part was the mattress. I've never slept on such a comfortable mattress in a rented room before. Also, the property is convenient to local restaurants and a short drive to the fairgrounds.Overall, I would stay here again.
Our second time with this host. We use this as an overnight on road trips. This time we stayed in unit #1, which was a fairly comfortable duplex cabin behind the main house. We enjoyed the gas fireplace, and thought the bathroom/shower were better than the unit we used earlier in the year (#4 or #5 I think). Communications with the host were great. Check in/out were trouble free as there is an entry code for getting in, provided earlier in the day by the host. The night was cold but the heater was more than adequate. The bed comfortable.
Although next to a train track, the only train to come thru was in the morning as we were getting up.
Easy access, smooth communication with property owner, nice stay. Mom’s kitchen nearby has a great breakfast and you’re not far from Springfield and just a little drive to Branson. Overall good stay!!
We loved our stay! We were able to visit Springfield, Joplin, Branson and even Uranus all within driving distance of our Garden Suite. Such a nice, quiet atmosphere to return to after a day of adventure! Thank you Sarah!
