Along the north of the harbour, cafés are blessed withincredible views of the Notre Dame de la Garde, which sits atop an impressiveoutcrop to the south. This iconic symbol of the city and the incredible viewsfrom its perch can be accessed easily from the port via the Petit Train.

Visit some of the Vieux Port’s landmarksthat stand as monument to the city’s 2,600-year history. Two forts at theentrance to the port have stood guard since the 12th century and the age ofFrench Kings. Discover the history of Fort St. Jean, on the harbour’s northside, which today serves as an exhibition space for the Museum of European andMediterranean Civilisations (Musée des civilisations de l'Europe et de laMéditerranée, MuCEM).
