Nice hotel with a good location. It was very small, though, and breakfast offered limited food options. Depending on your room's orientation, it can be a bit noisy at night. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and everything was very clean.

This is a great little private hotel with a wonderful location. Hotel owner made an effort to make sure our days were full of adventures. Staff was friendly and breakfast was always ready! Coffee machines were excellente’!

Great location if you want to be in the busy part of Marseille. Overall, hotel felt cheap and like a student dorm. Room was tiny and I Could not open the Window because of the noise from the street. Will never go back to Marseille. If I Could do it over again, I would stay in the suburbs of Marseille and make it a Day trip.

Location is the only reason you would stay here. Tiny rooms, no amenities, no parking, no staff apart from front desk who are classically minimalist. Dirty, tired and not as advertised. I think Hotels.com need to do better at protecting how venues advertise

Nice surprise

Our check in was fast and friendly. Room was a bit small but very doable. The breakfast was great which even had some salad items. Good selection of juices and coffees. Checkout also very friendly. We are returning in 3 nights. Good deal all around!

Excellent Marseille hotel

I stayed in the Vieux Carré Hôtel in May, 2023. Paid 104 € per night. I stayed four nights. Hotel was very clean, very nice. And you couldn’t hope for a better location. I came to Marseille a few days before boarding a cruise. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Nothing Special

My room was a bit cramped, and had only one very small window. The AC worked, but barely. The breakfast room was laid out poorly with everyone funneled into a corner for food and coffee. Long wait in lines for both coffee and food. Skip and go to o e of the many nearby cafes.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok. Expresso was more like filter coffee. One surprise: I was given the wrong information about taxi, but it was a younger staff member at the desk. The taxi she called for me added an 8 euro surcharge for Sunday and cost double what she said it would. Warning: the walls are very thin. I was woken at 3am when the neighbour returned to his room. The person made a lot of noise opening and closing their door, then there was banging around their room for about 20 minutes.
