"It is not possible to say how wonderful this hidden gem of a location is. Stephen and Kris were wonderful guests. So welcoming and kind. It was our second to last night of our 8 night trip. A different place every night. Hands down, without question, the most exquisite location we stayed at while driving through England. Their attention to detail, exceptional. "Patrick and his wife were very welcoming, the property is dated but comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. The surrounding area is a short walk away, with some nice pubs, restaurants (with gluten free options), shops and a Tesco etc... The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some comfy chairs or small sofa in the room as I personally struggle watching TV in bed, due to health issues, but other than that it was a pleasant stay."

"Absolutely spot on for what I needed. 11am checkout was brilliant meant I didn’t have to rush the next morning. Mackie Mayor by the hotel is brilliant, food was amazing. Can recommend the steak! Can recommend the suggested car park. I missed the turning the first time but once found it was absolutely ideal. "
