I enjoyed my stay here. Abdul was lovely and welcoming. Although the place was very basic it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nice. It was quite hard to find the Riad to begin with. But once you get your bearings it’s close and easy to get to the main square and the souks. As a solo female traveller I felt safe in the area even though it felt quite chaotic when I first got there. No one bothered me and the locals/vendors were very friendly. I can recommend this Riad it was good value for money.

Really lovely Riad. Clean, comfortable and close to main square with lots of shopping. Also easy to get to main attractions, most within walking distance or short taxi ride. The owner, Abdul, was very welcoming and helpful and so was his wife. I felt really at home there. Reasonably priced, would highly recommend! Oh, and basic breakfast included served on fabulous roof terrace!

Driving in Medina is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Abdul checked us in and was absolutely wonderful in directing us to a nearby car park to leave our car during our stay. He was really friendly throughout our stay. Thank you, Abdul!! The place was very clean and considering it was in the heart of Medina, it was actually very quiet. Aircon rooms were fantastic. Breakfast each morning was fabulous. We would definitely stay her again.

It was difficult finding the hotel in the beginning but we got help from two wonderful couples who were kind enough to help us find the hotel. The hotel was beautiful, our room was perfect and the air conditioner was working brilliantly. Abdul was very helpful and patient. Radiya's breakfast was always delicious, kept our room tidy and the whole hotel too. The location was very close to the market, if want to pray there's a masjid very close to the hotel. But overall I and my friend had a great time and a very pleasant stay at riad noor charana hotel.

I've stayed at Riad Noor Charana a number of times over the years and always have a great time. The rooms are simple but beautifully decorated and breakfast on the roof terrace is a real treat. The riad is in a great location and easily walkable from the souls and Jemma el Fna and the same lovely staff have worked there for years. My only feedback is that the WiFi barely worked which made making online bookings for restaurants and other attractions difficult and we had to use the WiFi in cafes and museums. With a lot of tourist attractions now requiring online booking good WiFi is essential.

Clean friendly and affordable
Abdul did everything to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. He is a real gem! This is a typical Riad, close to local shops and restaurants. The location is right in a typical Moroccan neighborhood, with lots of local culture. Great choice if you don't mind climbing stairs to your room, which is standard for all Riads.

Has two nights here . Very central less than 10 mins from the Jamaa el Fnaa . It is difficult to find but once settled very comfy, wonderful staff who are very helpful and a great breakfast on the roof . Highly recommended although patchy internet .

Lovely riad
Location - inside the medina, close to main square and numerous shopping and eating options. Limited vehicle access nearby, probably need to walk with bags for a few minutes to access. Can be tricky to find.... like everything in the medina! Service - excellent, limited English spoken, but owner addressed all our needs Accommodation - small but comfortable room, nice courtyard for sitting, rooftop sitting area for breakfast, or anytime. Eating - breakfast supplied, dinner is an option but expensive compared to nearby choices. Great coffee stall next door. Wi-fi - available in courtyard, but mostly poor. Non existent in room. Summary - recommended for a traditional Moroccan experience in the centre of the medina.

Homely Riad
The Riad is in a great location, set back from the main street so very quiet, lovely hosts who were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Marrakech, looking to explore the Medina and the souks.

A little gem, great value & great location
Great value on Hotels.com and a bit concerned how it would be but fantastic location of this little Riad and excellent value for money. Wonderful staff and could never do enough for you and rooms very comfortable. We went in early January and it was a bit chilly at night and AC / Heater was a bit noisy and not that efficient. We couldn't use the wifi in the room but could in the courtyard. All in all a great find and would definitely return.

The riad brings you peace and relaxation as soon as you walk into it. The room is well decorated with all amenities you need during your travel. The chef cooks excellent breakfast, and it is well served on daily until 11 am. The staff are super thoughtful and helpful to answer your questions. The best highlights of Marrakech!

Nice clean hotel. Good breakfast. Close to Fena square (around 10 mins walk) No receptionist and the cleaning lady checks you in. She is very nice and helpful WIFI is terrible, barely works There was a dripping noise from the toilet in my room that they couldn't fix at the moment and couldn't change my room.

This is an oasis in the heart of the medina, only minutes from the main square. The hosts are extremely kind and looked after us very well - great breakfast and help with booking excursions. Our room was simple but good - we slept well; the shower and toilet facilities were all good too. It's a little hard to find so I'd download a map onto a phone before you arrive.

the property itself is quiet and away from hustling street of medina. the owner are very nice and friendly but only speak French. get in and out use taxi take a little walk so don't bring heavy luggage

Pros - gorgeous Riad, close proximity to djeema el fna, Abdul (owner) is nice and welcoming, dinner in Riad was very very tasty, welcome tea & biscuits. Cons - walk through narrow souks (market) with bikes/cars zipping right next to you, room was quiet cold at night, saw a few moped collisions which led to physical fighting on route out of Riad, Riad is not child friendly due to its age, room needed a sweep. Neutrals - breakfast is provided (albeit very carb heavy!), nice place for couples (not young kids), were told to keep noise down from 8pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, whilst out room was pretty it could’ve done with a goooood sweeping & mopping! All in all a nice Riad with an equally nice owner…but definitely not kid friendly.

Great location -- though very difficult to find. Nice tasty breakfast. Very nice staff. Adequate bathroom with the smallest sink i have ever experienced. Rock hard unforgiving matresses. Sandpaper towels.

Very nice riad. Abdul took care of us in every way. We are family of four (2 kids). The location is perfect for just get out and walk to the square and other key attractions areas. Although we struggled a bit coming in to the riad during mid night from the airport. Stay was awesome and all went in as expected.

Great management; room was small but sufficient, and really clean. Great breakfast in the a.m. Located down an alley, but really close to the souks. The managers went out of their way to be helpful. I don't speak French or Arabic, and they don't speak much English, but were very patient and helpful as we mimed our way through our stay.

The bathroom feel a bit dirty but the staff was super sweet and very very helpful. They did not speak English so it definitely helps to speak French. I would recommend it if you’re tying to be in a close location to the central square and markets. It’s a good deal overall!

Beautiful, peaceful riad with lovely staff
Lovely friendly staff. A great riad very near to Jamaa El Fna. Very peaceful amid the chaos of the market streets. Don't expect total privacy, doors and windows open directly onto the main courtyard.

The riad staff was very friendly and attentive. Their English was not too good but we were able to communicate with them and get what we needed. The riad is very quiet considering it’s in the heart of the medina and is kept very clean.

An oasis surrounded by madness
The riad is at the end of a long street in the Médina. Not the best area as a few aggressive guys about. The people who work in the riad are super friendly and really care about the welfare of their guests. The courtyard and side rooms are loveky and whilst the bedrooms are basic, they are clean and its very quiet.

Very well maintained place Clean Right in th Médina 5 minuets walk to the plaza Jemaa el fna The owners are very friendly helpful The room was very nice clean ventilated fresh The bed though was a little stiff for me But other than that everything was perfect I will definitely come back
