The hotel was nice and the breakfast was nice. It was loud at night but thats what you get for staying right by the main square. I think overall it was a nice place to stay.
My only real issue and why I didn't rate it 5 stars was the guy who checked us in. We booked a taxi through the hotel which was 30 euros. We were dropped off near the square and one of the guys with carts was waiting to help us navigate and bring our luggage to the Riad. When we got there the receptionist told us to pay the guy 5 euros, which was fine but a little off in our opinion as it was an extra cost not advertised. The receptionist then tried to charge us 35 euros for the taxi and only backed down when I showed him the email with the booking saying it was 30 euros. He also tried to double charge us for the city tax. He also wouldn't let us pay in dirhams at first as he "didn't have change" which ended up being a lie as he relented when we didn't have euros and gave us change for our dirhams.
Its an okay hotel and a good price on paper, but I would be cautious and double check any extra fees they ask you to pay in cash.
