I would not recommend this place to anyone. The riad itself was nice but the customer service was not good. The prearranged airport pickup was 20 minutes late. The front desk lady was unhelpful, the most she did was provide a map of the city. The desert excursion we booked through the riad was not good, the tour guides barely spoke to us, did not introduce their names, and they took us to a shop encouraging us to buy oils which took about 45 minutes from the tour. And I am pretty sure the riad overcharged us as I asked another group on the same tour how much their riad charged them and it was €20 less than what I paid. I suggest finding separate excursions not referred by the riad. The first night there was a homeless man outside the front door, which scared me because the riad is located down an alley, I don’t have keys to the door and had to wait to be buzzed in from the front desk. I was having trouble booking a train ticket and once again the front desk lady was unhelpful, saying if I can’t buy it the train must be sold out, which I later found out was not true. When I was leaving I asked the lady if she could help flag down a taxi as the street is very busy and I did not want to be overcharged and she did not help saying it will be easy just waive my hand. I will not stay here again on my next visit to Marrakech. This riad is a good option only if you need a place to sleep and no help from anyone about anything.
