We loved our stay here. The property has incredible views of the mountains and we enjoyed our afternoons reading on one of the lovely terraces. In the evening the fire was lit and we had two delicious dinners downstairs. It is very easy to hire a guide to take you for a day hike and explore the mountains and local culture.
We loved Dar Imlil! It is set in a beautiful location, nestled in the mountains with an incredible view. The room was very cozy, and surprisingly big! The staff were incredibly friendly - from the moment we walked in, Hussein and the rest of the team were able to meet all of our needs (a guide for a hike, negotiating reasonable transport onwards etc). I would suggest if you need to communicate with them before arrival, through whatsap worked best - they werent responsive to the expedia chat. We will definitely be back!
We were staying in Dar Imlal for one night only, but it was amazing surprise. Left Marrakesh exosted after all city buzz and found wonderful little heaven. Rooms are very comfortable, ours had balcony, coffee/tea making facilities, water, tv, fridge. Staff just couldnt do enought for us - arrange wonderful dinner for two (with candles, napkins, table was served very elegant :) Hotel manager organised very good guid for 2day trek to Mount Toubkal, who looked after us with great care (Rasheed - well recommended guid, speaks briliant english and extremely supportive and friendly).
If you arrive to hotel by taxi from Marrakesh, driver most likely will drop you in main car park - just fallow main road until its finihed , you will find little bridge at the end of the road, cross the bridge and on your right few steep steps up - you will find Dar Imlal!!!
We definately will be coming back :)
Awesome hotel in Imlil at the base of the mountains. We stayed here two nights and had a great time hiking around the area. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and well fed. Upon arriving the hotel is located right in the town of Imlil. We walked up some stairs and were blown away by the views. The hotel is situated right on the river and we really enjoyed the sound of the river at night. We also used the pool a lot and it was a nice break from the heat. The hotel made us dinner every night and it was delicious. The breakfast was also very good. Book this! You won't regret it.
The place was great. It was clean, warm, and the bathroom was spacious. I really have nothing to complain about. Great option and worth the little bit higher price compared to a few other options in Imlil. The bathroom was much nicer than the Riad Atlas Toubkal if you're comparing the two.
this was such a special trip. Mr Abdul and his staff were spectacular, one of the memorable overnight trips of my life. In a short time, this small town left a huge impression on us

Rustic place, decent scenery, annoying local people trying to get money through begging etc. Common throughout Morocco to have local people trying one scam or another.
The owner, Abdou, arranged taxi from Marrakech airport and was waiting on the street to meet us when we arrived. Great customer service from Abdou and all his team! Lovely guest house & good central location
Dar Imlil made an excellent impression right from the booking with swift replies to e-mails to arrange transfer. This went without a hitch. The rims are impressive with views over the mountains and the terraces views over the village and of the river as it runs over a number of waterfalls right next to the property. The staff were amazing and we felt very welcome and looked after. The room was spotless and comfortable. We had lunch on the terrace in the sun and a day playing games around the fire so dar imlil is a great base whatever the weather. The food is great and tasty. We left with batteries recharged and sad to leave. The final transfer back to the airport also went without a hitch.
Massive suite!! Stone's throw from village centre.
We had a gargantuan suite, with separate areas for sitting at a table, the bedroom, watching TV, and a bathroom with a lovely big bath, and two balconies. Views in all directions were lovely or spectacular. The suite was clean, the telly worked, the breakfast was great, and there was a lovely warm fire lit for our comfort whenever we were downstairs. You're well placed for walking, hiking and the village centre.
Very friendly welcome . Keen to help make stay enjoyable . Lovely meal Berber style . Organised walking and pick up from airport. People very friendly looked after us very well .relaxing stay .
Un petit hotel avec un service chaleureux, une chambre pittoresque et surtout une vue extraordinaire sur le toubkal. L'hotel permet de se détendre dans un silence absolu. Juste incroyable
We stayed at Dar Imlil on the off season (Thanksgiving) and the hotel was pretty empty. As such the folks gave us a suite on the 2nd floor with amazing views. Can only imagine how lively and fun the hotel is during the warmer months.
Best in the area! Good bed Nice people Brilliant views and very good food!
All was super relaxing!

Great Hotel for hikers
Hotel is in a very secluded town. Great location if you want to hike the mountains.
Hotel is extremely peaceful and quiet.
Rooms were a nice standard and very traditional. Very large comfy beds and generally large rooms as well.
Wifi needs to be improved as it can only be accessed in the hotel lobby.
There isn't much else around the hotel, so would definitely recommend dining at the hotel. Food is fantastic, value for money and really enjoyed the authentic moroccan dishes.
