Fantastic location great property

We had a lovely stay at Mad on Marlo. Location is exceptional. Property is neat and tidy and has everything you need. Hosts make settling in easy. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

Good beach house in excellent location

Comfortable and dog friendly holiday house in an excellent location.Uninterrupted view of the water which is right across the road, road is a dead-end so quite quiet. Garden is fully fenced, good sized so good for the woofer. House is simple and comfortable, has good wifi.Would definitely stay here again.

My family had a wonderful short stay at this property in Marlo. It is in the perfect location with great views. Cathie is a wonderful host and left us all sorts of wonderful things for us to enjoy. The property itself is simple but very homely / cosy with a good set up.

Interesting birds

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and we were able to prepare our Christmas dinner roast in the well appointed kitchen. The weather was mild and we were able to do lots of walks and do some interesting bird watching.

Home away from Home

The personal touches make this stay as comfortable as it comes. Sunsets and sunrises from the deck and the beach right on the doorstep makes the most relaxing and comfortable stay there is. Walking distance to the pub, jetty and general store, what more can you want?! Plenty of space for the whole family including the fur babies, excellent accommodation and can’t wait to go back

House and surrounds well maintained and inside house was well appointed with many thoughtful extras in kitchen. Heating was effective as it was chilly when we stayed. We will come again as proximity to pub and Cape Conran were bonuses.

Weekend visit to spend time with daughter

Fantastic house with all amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Stocked with eggs bread milk and some other treats which were entirely unexpected but super welcomed. Really I couldn’t have asked for more and I will definitely look here upon my return.

Perfectly peaceful.

Beautifully located overlooking the tranquil estuary at Marlo. The house was very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with essentials and treats. Walking distance to the pub and only steps away from the beachfront. The balcony was ideal to watch the sunset. Easy check in and out, the house was clean and we appreciated being able to holiday with our pet - who also loved the beach!

Water views, sound of waves, homey comforts in Marlo

Welcome gifts for me and a lovely note attached to some home made doggy treats for my fur baby. The well set up comfortable home is in an amazing position with water views. If you have trouble with movement the outside stairs are steep but not insurmountable. Sand castles and water play are so close with the Snowy River out the front of the property only metres away.

Location, location, location.

We had an absolutely sensational 7 day stay at Mad On Marlo in late January 2024. The house itself exceeded our expectations and we basically lived on the balcony over looking the snowy river estuary all week. Wanted for nothing and even on the one day the weather was poor the kids were able to watch Netflix and leave us adults alone to relax which we certainly did. Our communications with Cathie were great and nothing seemed to be a problem. Welcoming goodies are also a great touch.Will be returning.

Stunning water views

The house is very comfortable. The outlook is gorgeous. Unfortunately we had a problem with the dip between the road and the driveway and scraped the rear of our vehicle (Ford Fairlane) which necessitated unloading and loading the boot at the bottom of the driveway. That apart, we enjoyed walks on the beach with our pooch, had a couple of great meals at the hotel and watched the bird life from the verandah. Cape Conran was certainly worth a visit. The wood fire was a hit but carrying wood up the stairs is testing!
