"The governor mansion in clarksdale has so much character... my family enjoyed every inch of this home. The history books of clarksdale took us back down memory lane. "AWESOME!! If your looking for a great experience book this hotel. It is in and older building converted into a hotel in Clarksdale, MS. The rooms are large and clean. However, there are none of the static distractions like chain hotels. There are no stairs to the second floor and no tvs in the rooms which affords for a quiet stay. The beds are clean and comfortable. If you want a quiet and restful hotel while in the area this is it. "

"Great stay. They said the rooms were soundproof. Not sure how sound proof they were. We didn’t hear other guess next door however when we entered the hall we heard someone in their room. Still it was a pretty quiet stay. The staff was very friendly and made check in and check out a breeze. There is a restaurant on the property, but we didn’t get to try it. The room was pretty clean and comfortable. This is my second stay here. I look forward to my next real soon. "
