"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."

"The hotel staff were amazing and so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was lovely, we had breakfast everyday and had a few evening meals 10/10. The hotel was also central for the town the bus and train station should you wished to go off to Belfast or Dublin for the day."

"This property was beautiful and exactly what I needed to get away for a week in July. I got the most inexpensive room and it had a smart tv, spacious shower, very comfortable queen bed with flat sheet and fluffy duvet/comforter and comfy pillows, small library, electric tea kettle, tea cups with spoon and saucer, instant coffee and tea with milk and sugar, space heater, and hair dryer. It also had a beautiful courtyard with colorful flowers. Will return in the future."

"Fabulous views and amazing golfing. The hotel itself is very well maintained and of a very high standard. Food for dinner and breakfast was of a very high quality. In some hotels this can all get lost if the team working there do not match those standards but, in this instance, they actually exceeded them. Nothing requested was too much trouble, they were very attentive in the restaurant at all times and they had achieved an amazing balance between being utterly professional while being incredibly friendly and personable. I would have no issues recommending this hotel and golf course to anyone. David"

"What a truly wonderful place to stay. Right from the warm welcome by Bart, the manager, in the Crawford Pub next door, through to the fantastic Irish breakfast, we couldn't have asked for more. It was a perfect base to explore the Mountains of Mourne on our motorbikes for a few days. Rostrevor and it's residents we so welcoming. It is a magical place."
