The star is the property itself - its whimsical and unusual and glorious! Amazing breakfast, too. The quality of the rooms is average - quite 3 star. The pool looked a bit gross.

Very nice hotel. The staff were all really nice and ready to help. Clean rooms. Restaurant was really good especially our weiter Johann. Bar was well stocked with servers nice and knowledgeable. Would certainly go back.

Rooms feel really Small and too May stairs to go up And down every time if you are places at the top floor .

Overall the property was great and I would definitely stay here again when I return to Machu Picchu. I was really happy with this hotel. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Not many amenities provided but this is understandable being we are in the mountains. Staff was very nice and helpful. The front desk was not staffed the hours I walked by, but the restaurant staff could handle double duty if needed. They did meet me at the train station and escort me to the hotel. Which we above and beyond. As for the surroundings. There were plenty of restaurants and bars near by, lots of shopping and scenic tours you can do. This was a great hotel, I do recommend!

Spa was very relaxing, superb breakfast.
