Welcome to Zen House! Our spacious mountain retreat is located a few minutes from downtown Mariposa & 25 miles from Yosemite's Arch Rock entrance (most direct route to Yosemite Valley!) Perched on a scenic 5-acre property, our home offers an ideal blend of comfort, relaxation, and adventure.

Inside, you’ll find ample space for 6+ guests, featuring 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Enjoy cozy evenings around the pool table, unwind in the hot tub under the stars with breathtaking views.

Nestled high above the valley, our cozy retreat offers a secluded and scenic stay with panoramic views you won’t forget. The property is located on 5-acres and the long driveway is a journey in itself, adding to the sense of adventure and escape. During winter months, a 4x4 vehicle is required to navigate the steep incline safely. This effort is well worth it, as you’ll be rewarded with peace, privacy, and stunning landscapes all around!

Our home comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests (6 adults and 2+children under 12), with three KING-size beds in the main bedrooms and a convenient trundle bed for additional sleeping space. We are dog- friendly (with an additional fee; 2 dogs max) for well behaved dogs.

The living room has a 65” TV with Netflix/Hulu and soundbar, pool table in the living room and corn hole.

Hot tub/Pool:
Hot tub is professionally serviced weekly and available all year round.

Sauna:
New outdoor barrel sauna

A/C & Heating:
We have central A/C and heating throughout the home.

Babies/Toddlers:
-Baby gate off deck
-High chair
-Stokke flexibath with newborn insert
-Mini crib or Guava Lotus travel crib (please bring your own sheets)
-Baby Bjorn Bouncer

Dogs:
$100 cleaning fee and up to 2 dogs

Note:
Mountain areas are homes to critters such as but not limited to deer, bear, squirrels, rodents, spiders, ants, and insects. We are contracted with a pest control company with scheduled treatments; however, we cannot guarantee that any such critters will not be visible in or around the cabin. The presence of any such critters does not entitle the guest to a refund. Please do not leave doors or windows open without screens.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire property except the garage. No access is granted to the garage.
Other things to note
Winter Access:
From late November to April there is a chance it will snow at the property. Carrying tire chains are recommended if it is snowing.

Reaching the Home:
The driveway is a 1000ft driveway and steep but manageable for large size/4WD/AWD vehicles . 2 wheel drive vehicles are not recommended for inexperienced drivers.
