Take a peaceful trek in nature, camp out in your own backyard, or just relax in a hammock to the sound of solitude. Of course toasting marshmallows over the fire is a requirement while visiting, and yes the marshmallows are included! You'll never want to go home!
High-Speed WiFi! Located in the beautiful community of Linville Falls Mountain Club, this 3 BD, 2.5 new construction home is cozy, quiet, and inviting. Situated 20 minutes from downtown Marion and an 8 minute drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 7 minutes to Linville Caverns, and 35 minutes to scenic Lake James, "The Toasted Marshmallow" is inviting you and yours to escape the hustle and bustle of life. The property is nestled against Linville Gorge and showcases a professional 18 hole disc golf course which hosts the College Disc Golf National Championship. This property has high-speed WiFi, underground utilities, and city water, all a rare find in the heart of the NC mountains. A huge wraparound porch complete with rocking chairs, additional outdoor chairs, picnic table, and a gas grill (direct line to propane which we provide) for outdoor enjoyment awaits. The serene outdoor fire pit is just a few stepping stones away from the porch, with a hammock in between.

Painstakingly decorated, the kitchen and living room share an open space which is perfect for unwinding. The living room is furnished with a gas log stone fireplace, a 55" flat screen Roku TV with sound bar and subwoofer, and comfy couch and love seat ready to relax you and yours!

The primary bedroom is on the main level and features a king bed with built -in headboard lights, 43" Roku TV, large ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and custom tiled shower. Head upstairs to find two bedrooms, one with another king bed and 40" Roku TV, and another with two sets of bunks beds (three twins and one full bed) and another 40" Roku TV! Books and board games are available for your family to enjoy.

-Do not move the adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit, as they are placed at a safe distance from the fire
-Outdoor gas grill must be cleaned well (to help prevent attracting bears in the area)
-Remove and store hammock when not in use
-NO trash to be left outside or in cars
-**Please don't flush anything but toilet paper!! The system (**It is a Grinder Pump**) is sensitve and may back up if anything but TP is flushed.**
-**Please do not dispose of grease directly down the kitchen sink drain! That too will damage the Grinder Pump system. Please dispose of grease in the garbage can only.**

- Repeat guests returning to The Toasted Marshmallow can receive a 10% discount.
- The kitchen is well stocked with all utensils needed to cook meals. Although there are several restaurants nearby (please see the Welcome Book), bring enough food for extended stays as the nearest grocery store is in the city of Marion.
-Included are paper products at the house: two rolls of paper towels, three toilet paper rolls per bathroom, several garbage bags, dishwashing liquid, hand soap,
shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped bundles and a fire starter log for $25.
- Desk and chair present for a dedicated workstation.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property is not pet friendly for rentals. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. The road leading to this home is fully paved.
- The Toasted Marshmallow has driveway parking space for up to 3 vehicles. (**Be very careful when backing out of the driveway and triple check your surroundings, especially the ledge on the right side).
