Cabin Vacation
This cabin is very clean and comfortable. We especially liked all the outdoor seating areas, from the chairs by the river to the upper deck with gas fireplace! Ryan was very prompt in responding to all of my questions and comments.

Excellent Property
In fairness, this is the second time I have stayed. Both times the process has been seamless from check in to check out. Follow the directions emailed to you and you are fine. The house has plenty of room, nice deck area for relaxing, and sitting at night with the fire pit burning, listening to the river run by - relaxation embodies.

This home is located off the beaten path and away from the busy-ness of town we intended to escape
The property had just what we wanted. Nothing was complicated. Everything was clean and worked. Our host was accommodating and responsive when we needed help. We would stay at the Riverhouse again

Perfect getaway in the woods!
This house was beautiful and enjoyable inside and out. Multiple spaces to chill individually or as a group, spotlessly clean, and everything you could need. The location feels secluded but is only a short drive from Marion. Quick access to a hiking/fly fishing trail and within 45 min of two awesome state parks!

An amazing property
Wow! What can I say? We were blown away by the beauty surrounding the property, and the house is practically brand new inside. Two decks the porch with a hot tub and swing. The closets are huge. The bathrooms are very nice. And the upstairs kitchen and family area is amazing. Already planning on staying here next year.

What a Find!!
First, I want to say that I found this amazing location because we happen to be coming in town for a wedding the same weekend as the race in Bristol. That meant there were very few places that were available that met the criteria we were looking for. I might never have ventured this far away from our wedding location if it were not for that. And wow! Am I glad that I expanded our search! I really don’t know where to begin with his location, but what I will say is that the photos do not fully capture the essence of this place. We had read the reviews so we knew to be prepared to have the directions printed off before we came due to the remote location and the possibility that our Internet would be slow. But to be honest, it’s that way in many of the areas we drove in southwest Virginia. I mean – You’re out in the country. What do you expect? Internet aside, we had no issues with connectivity while we were there. The instructions were easy to follow, and to be honest we really didn’t need to be that connected. At the end of the day, if there was a real emergency, there are plenty of landline phones. But we are there to see our family as we are from out of state, and spent quite a bit of our time actually driving between several towns surrounding the location. Luckily, we were able to spend some substantial time there and I would love to come back. I would also love to know more about the history of the area, and once you visit, you will too. I would live here!Beautiful home!
