It was okay. We do believe there could have been some prevention for the extreme amount of flies indoors. And provided some type of wipes for counter tops and maybe some generic kitchen aluminum foil and cling wrap available.

Marion Retreat was perfect and warm and comfortable and beautiful! All of our guests and family were very impressed by the size of the rooms and all commented on how luxurious the beds were. The entire property was very tidy and clean and inviting in every way. The bonus was the ability to put our vehicles in the garage when we experienced inclement weather during our stay. With so many people staying in the house, there was plenty of spaces, like the season room to relax and enjoy some privacy and quiet away from each other when we needed it. The amenities like wifi, camping chairs, the outdoor fire pit and patio, and all of the outdoor games and board games and Blu-ray movies provided, ensured everyone young and old alike had plenty of entertainment. The location of the house is close enough to town so as not to be a long drive to restaurants and shopping, but was far enough away from the city to give you the peace and quiet feeling of being in the country. Overall, I can't say enough good things about the Marion Retreat. I will definitely recommend it to any of my family and friends to use in the future. I myself will be booking it again when we visit our family in the future! I must also comment on the prompt, professional and friendly service that the property manager and owner gave me, when I called with a question. Thank you for making my stay for my daughter's wedding one of the best vacations I have ever had.

Nature, Comfort, and Coastal Adventures – A Perfect Family Getaway!We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The lanai quickly became our favorite gathering spot — perfect for morning coffee, evening chats, and everything in between. Inside, the living room was a hit with the kids, especially the foosball table and endless rounds of Uno!One of the main reasons we chose this property was for the pool and fishing access, and it did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed cooling off in the pool and trying their luck with a fishing pole. The backyard felt like a peaceful walk through nature — we spotted birds, ducks, turtles, squirrels, and even rabbits roaming freely. . “It was magical,” in the words of our 4-year-old — and we couldn’t agree more!The location truly sealed the deal for us. We explored Anna Maria Island, took a drive to Sarasota to shop and dine, and even dipped our toes in the powdery white sands of Siesta Key Beach — one of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S.The hosts were fantastic from start to finish. Their communication before our trip was prompt and helpful, they remained easily accessible during our stay, and even followed up with kind wishes after our departure.This place was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend for families looking to relax, explore, and make lasting memories!
