Cool little cabin, was a great getaway from Bakken fails of day! Dress warm if there are burn restrictions… Went to The Under The Big Sky festival in Whitefish and was able to get away from noisy party crowds every night and get some good sleep! Glen and his wife are great hosts!!
Well lit front door
Clean and well maintained Mr. Hanky’s potty! lol
Nice shower stall behind the cabin

The main thing I dislike is the $1500 deposit and it taking 20+ days to be refunded. There's not really anything at this cabin that could be damaged, it's a minimalist place on purpose. That is a very high deposit for a facility with no real bathroom running water or electricity. Guests are expected to hook up the pump to the battery myself and I was not comfortable with that so did not use the solar shower or any running water while I was there. They did provide lots of bottled water for drinking and cooking, which was useful. It's in a very nice wooded area but you can hear the highway so if you're looking for complete quiet, this is close but not 100%. The door was heavy and opened "out" as it should in bear country, and the window seemed very sturdy as well. I felt safe from critters. There is not a lock inside the door to keep out human inteiders though, so I did not sleep the best.
