"This is a lovely, slightly out of the way, four star hotel. Facilities are very good. Menu limited if staying for more than a few days but it’s very good food. Walking and public transport are a bit awkward but if you have a car there is no issue with that. The spa facilities are very nice. Best part of my stay!"

"Had an emergency and had to be admitted to hospital, messaged the hotel to explain and asked if they could kindly move the stay date an extra 24 hours, no cancellation...no empathy, took the money and cancelled the booking....if that's the kind of hotel that they are, enjoy the money, I'm not that desperate....karma will find a way to return the favour ...so the rating that I would give them is.... Really there are no minuses"

"The hot tub, hot pool, sauna and steam bath were extremely comfortable and a pleasure to use after a trip. It's worth a day or two stay. I enjoyed the baked lamb that they had a specialty that day. The house red wine was excellent."
