"The apartment is perfect! Modern, updated, very well appointed. The private terrace and hot tub were a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Buy some wine and enjoy the view. The fabulous restaurant Baglio Saracena is very close and is delicioso! "

"Beautiful property in lovely surroundings. The house was equipped with everything needed and the log burner was an unexpected and welcomed surprise as we had a couple of stormy days so we were able to snuggle in front of it. Information from the owner on local eateries and places to visit was extremely useful and his directions to locate the house were invaluable. Overall a great stay the only disappointment was that we expected to have total privacy at the house, however a relative of the owner arrived the same day as ourselves and explained that he would be staying in the adjoining building for the next 3 months. A very nice and friendly gentleman but we were looking forward to our own company for the week."

"Stayed at B. & B Il Castellino in March 2025, after seeing a positive review. Sadly, our stay was not good at all, and we were happy to leave. The biggest problem was very poor communication from management about the true status of services. We arrived by train, and there was no taxi or bus service. We called the restaurant (Creperia and More, owned by the same owners) to advise us, and they said it is “a 10 minute walk.” We carried our luggage for 1/2 mile and up 21 flights of stairs from the station to the restaurant! We asked to have dinner at the restaurant and they said “no we are closing” (7:30 PM). They gave us the key and escorted us to the apartment (1 block away).The lock on the inside apartment door didn’t work, and we had to leave it unlocked for our entire stay. The apartment had no kitchen furnishings! Only a stove that did not work, 2 water glasses, no silverware, no cooking utensils, no plates or cups to make a cup of tea. There was no wastebasket in the entire apartment, in the bathroom, kitchen, or living area! We had to leave dirty tissues on the floor of the bathroom. The listing said “daily housekeeping,"“Room service available” and “wifi service” --none of those were available, and “breakfast available” which was a stale pastry and coffee at the creperie down the street.It is very disappointing, because there are other B &B services in the town that seemed to be very professional and good. I would never stay here again and do not reccommend it."
