Hostel style to the max. Pros— comfy clean bed. Quiet. Room is big enough. Cons— no drinking water to be found apart from in bathrooms. Toilet down corridor was flooded. One more toilet for the floor had non functioning lock. Mega prison vibes— sad pics of ex prisoners adorn the walls. Weird. No breakfast before 8am on weekends.

An interesting place

Great hotel inside an old prison. Modern but not to modern so it still has lots of character. The hallways echo a little just how it would have when it was a prison.

Quite ok for the money, after all you are in a former prison with a museum feel. There were sometimes problems with the room cards, they didn't always work. Breakfast ok, parking in front of the hotel ok!

Cool prison hotel with great history

Super cool Hotel, its an old prison. very clean, very good breakfast, super confy beds. the doors are extreemly small since its the original doors for the prison cells. The staits in the middel of the hotel is low so you can hit your head. Rooms have very high celings. very comfy, cool history, great location.

It is a prison! You can feel it, however it is cool to experience it for a night. We got to check-in right when the Front Desk was closing for the day. A but eerie inside when no-one is around and you have. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Okay-ish breakfast. Overall great for a night!

Ett mycket trevligt boende med god service i en vÀldigt annorlunda miljö. Rummen var rena och frÀscha likasÄ de gemensamma utrymmena. Rummen som var inredda i de gamla fÀngelsecellerna var svala och sköna, sÀngarna var i gott skick och erbjöd mig en skön sömn. Frukosten var rejÀl sÄ man stod sig gott pÄ den till middagen. Hotellet som Àr inrymt i det gamla fÀngelset inrymmer Àven ett museum frÄn tiden dÄ det var ett fÀngelse för grova brottslingar. Man ber bara om nyckeln i reception sÄ fÄr man njuta av byggnadens historia. LÀget Àr bra och centralt, bara ett par minuters gÄngvÀg över bron sÄ Àr man i centrum med nÀrhet till parker, hamnomrÄdet med utsikt mot VÀnerns inlopp till Tidan I hamnen erbjuds det mat av alla de slag frÄn de matstÀllena som ligger dÀr. 10 minuter bort ligger Àven Gamla stan som ocksÄ Àr vÀrt en tur. Med alla smÄ trÀhus och backiga smÄ grÀnder. Hit kommer jag gÀrna igen. Vad som bör nÀmnas Àr att hotellet Àr icke sÄ handikappanpassat. Avsaknad av hissar gör att det endat finns ett par rum dÀr stÄldörrarna frÄn förr Àr demonterade oc ersatta med bredare dörrar pÄ bottenplan. Vad man bör tÀnka pÄ Àr att det Àr inga luxuösa boenden.Utan att man fÄr uppleva en hÀrlig historisk miljö . Sist men inte minst , ett prisvÀrt boende med gott bemötande frÄn personalen

Har inget att klaga över. Sköna sÀngar, bra frukost. Lite dÄligt med parkering, men det löste sig. Vi var hÀr bara en natt, men kan absolut tÀnka oss att stanna flera nÀtter. Klart prisvÀrt.
