This is the second time we have stayed with Brittany. She is an attentive host if you need her. Her little cabins are warm, clean and comfortable. We will be back next year!
We rented this cabin and the one right next to it for a family getaway for the weekend . We all enjoyed our stay . The host Brittany was super helpful when we needed her . This is our second time here hope to return again .
We stayed 2 days to take a break from our long road trip. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. The bedroom was very small but the Queen size bed was comfortable. The host was quick to respond and was very accommodating.
Everything about our stay at Brittany’s cabin, from booking through checkout was great! She is a great host and communicator. This cabin was just adorable and perfect for us and our two young grandchildren. The location is very convenient to Marrienville for access to stores and some nice restaurants (Bettina’s italian was great!). It ia about a 15 drive to the state park, so really close. We enjoyed a winter hike to the swinging bridge at Tom’s run. Can’t forget to mention, the cabin was spotless upon out arrival and it feels so new and fresh! Thank you Brittany!
If you are looking for a cozy little cabin setting not too far off the beaten path, this is the place. Fully equipped kitchen, wifi, electric fire place, nice outdoor lounging area with a fire pit and plenty of wood. Yard looks out into the woodlands. There are 4 cabins on the property two at either end with railroad tie walls and lumber barriers separating Each set of two, creating privacy for you while you enjoy the back yard with the fire pit. Modern shower, tankless water heater, nice log cabin style walls. Kitchen table for 2 or 3 and a breakfast bar style counter separating half the kitchen from the living room. Overall nice and clean, hosts are responsive and friendly. Convenient to cooks forest for hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoeing and fishing. A handful of small local restaurants with reasonable prices and decent food. Just a nice place to hang out and relax for a weekend while doing some glamping, or having some alone time with that special someone.
Cozy and updated. It was perfect for us and our pups. It was clean and well maintained and a great location for that area. We would have enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard but there was a foot of snow on the ground so we couldn’t use it at that time.
This place was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with my boyfriend. Aside from the coziness and excellent amenities, we were greeted by a leucistic deer in the backyard on several occasions. That’s as close as I’ll ever get to seeing a unicorn in the wild!! We’ll definitely be coming back!
