"Very clean spot and great for traveling with kids. Lots of games and things in the house. The challenge we had was with the frequent power outages in the area. All other neighbors have generators, and we lost power on our second night and had to leave early. It was great weather and the outage seemed to be without cause, but this is a frequent occurrence in the area because there were lots of instructions on when to use the water when the power is out. Just something to be aware of when booking!"

"Our third visit to Pete's Cabin on Whidbey! Chrissy is the best host, and the land and structure are "mystical"! Such a serene environment, and comfort felt every day we were there. Hiking the trails just across the way from the cabin, and the authenticity of the log cabin make it pure heaven for us on each of our visits! Thanks as always Chrissy!"

"The property was in excellent condition with plenty of space for our group! Everything was spacious: from the driveway, to the living areas, to the patios. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for making dinners for a large group. The views were the cherry on top. We were lucky and had great weather every evening for vivid sunsets. Would definitely stay here again if I were back on Whidbey with a large group."

"This is a beautiful property and our group enjoyed our stay for a wedding weekend. However, we were disappointed by the communication with the host after checkout. We received messages expressing concerns about noise and parking, even though our bridal party left by 10 PM and the neighbors had explicitly approved where we parked. The neighbor was so so nice and we communicated with him multiple times throughout the weekend (he is related to the host) and he told me exactly where I could have cars and what parts of the beach to access or not. We were also asked about pre-existing damage to a bedsheet. While we accidentally dropped a perfume bottle and cleaned it up, we felt the host's other claims regarding the condition of the house were inaccurate. Future guests might want to thoroughly document the home's condition upon check-in to avoid any confusion. It seems like they don’t want larger groups here even when the house accommodates it. Overall, such a lovely stay, just confused with communication after."
