The villa itself is a historic home and the family offered us the chance to read about its history, which made our stay even more memorable. "We booked the suite room in this family run Château. We came away without the children for a weekend of peace & quiet but the family have children and a baby, the baby cried during the day and in the evening we heard a lot of banging on the floor above our room. It’s not pleasant if you want time away from kids. The room was tired and breaking, the bed was hard and the pillows were big square decorative pillows not sleeping pillows. it did not make for a comfortable sleep. The kettle was...
