"We are a group of 40 and 50 something friends who visit Vermont annually for a ski trip. This house was absolutely perfect! Great location, beautiful property, excellent hot tub and pool table, and a fantastic games room! Add to that a very large lounge and dining room for group get togethers - it really couldn't have been better. The hosts were really communicative, check in and out was easy, and we are already talking about securing the house again next year! "

"The house was great! It was spacious enough for all of us to spread out. And, it was close enough to Mt Snow that going back and forth wasn’t a challenge."

"Check in was quick and effortless. The home was clean and location was perfect with stunning views. I did find it strange that the home we rented was the central location for charging the neighbor’s Electric Vehicles in the winter. I felt uncomfortable with strangers parking their cars in front of the large window of the room my 2 youngest children slept in to charge their vehicles overnight. I do feel this information should have been shared exclusively with the renter prior to their stay. This information would have been helpful and would have eliminated some of the anxiety our family experienced during this stay."

"This cabin is located in the forest and very close to Stratton ski resort, which makes it a convenient place to stay for skiing. The road leading to the cabin includes a long unpaved section, which can be a bit challenging to drive on, especially in winter. The host provided clear and accurate directions, and check-in went smoothly. The cabin itself has an older, rustic style. Some facilities, especially in the bathroom, could use updates. The toilet does not have a flushing system and is very basic, and the shower area is also quite simple. The kitchen equipment is somewhat dated, and a few items did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. It was also the only place we have stayed where guests are asked to bring their own bed sheets and pillowcases. One of the most pleasant surprises was the record player and the large collection of vinyl records. It really gave the cabin a special character and atmosphere. The living room was definitely the most enjoyable space in the house."

" The location was beautiful RIGHT on the river and overall the house was charming. The heat warmed the house despite single digit temps outside but we really utilized the awesom ewood atove that threw lots of heat. There was plenty of wood to burn. One downside was i hadnt saved the access info for entry to the house & due to remote lication we had no signal to get the code so i had ro drive 10 min down the road to get the door code & wifi password from an email! The kitchen was stocked with condiments & coffee & plenty of cookware. Beds were fine, not 5 star but comfortable enough. I would recommend & we may try to come back to this house in the summer!Thank you!"

"The house itself was wonderful and easy to access. Communication with Vacasa, the host, was ineffective or nonexistent. I contacted the host in advance with questions, both answers were incorrect. I communicated before we left with the host, and there was no response.Other than the communication issues, the house was very clean, spacious and enjoyable."

"The host was very thorough and the house was wonderful. The Wifi was especially helpful as there is limited cell phone service in the area. We truly felt like we were a part of the surrounding nature. Finally, Stratton Mountain was just 20-25 minutes away--great for the ski season!"
