Kindness Above All

From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warmth that felt genuine - not just professional courtesy, but true hospitality. The staff didn’t just serve, they cared, anticipated, and made us feel not just welcomed, but truly seen.

Great location - Lots of Stairs

Great location; walking distance to the museum and many shops and restaurants. We parked as close as GPS suggested, called the hotel, and staff arrived quickly to help with luggage and guide us to the hotel. Unfortunately, the only available room didn't have a window! Not mentioned when booking. Also, tiny entrance; my 6 ft. 3 husband had to crouch down to get into the room. The location is on the side of the hill below the castle. Very picturesque but lots of stairs everywhere.

Lovely room and view, staff could not have been any friendlier. Driving a car there is almost impossible, GPS navigation takes you everywhere but the hotel. There is no parking, despite what description says. It’s free-for-all parking nearby (if one can find a spot after fighting crowded streets and traffic). Then one has to carry suitcases/belongings up stairs and through alleys to get to the hotel. Our room was very nice, but the internet/wifi did not work. Staff delivered fresh fruit plate as an apology—it was delicious, but was 11PM. Breakfast buffet was sumptuous and delicious. Old Mardin is all within walking distance and spectacular. Front desk gave us great dining and sightseeing recommendations.

Quiet hotel down an alley at the end of the main street of the old town. Like most of the houses in Mardin the hotel is on multiple different levels, so lots of steps! We had a very pleasant stay and particularly enjoyed the terrace.

At the edge of town, for those able to walk a lot.

I like the room I had. However, I did not know that the hotel is at the end of the village and there is a walk between the road to the hotel. A long traffic jam in the morning. If you like a quiet place to stay and do not mind walking, it is a fine hotel. A nice view from the terraces, but a lot of stairs to navigate. An adequate service.

We wish to be refunded in full as we tried to find this hotel by car and on foot for over 3.5 hours to no avail. My husband even got in a taxi and I followed in our car but they could also not find it.We found a sign for the hotel but even google maps couldnt find it. We tried to call the hotel and no one spoke English. I walked up and down lots of steps trying to find this place while my husband waited in the car as he is unable to walk that far.

Keyifli

Arabayı yakın bir bölgeye park esnasında yardımcı oldular, odanın ambiyansı hoştu, temizdi, kahvaltısı açık büfeydi ve lezzetliydi. Gezilecek yerleri, yöresel lezzet önerilerini içeren listelerin whatsapp'tan iletilmesi incelikli bir paylaşımdı.
