Lovely staff. Very helpful. Room very clean. Sufficient shower, but no shower gel provided. Luckily had a bottle in the wash bag. Parking not great. Had to leave over the kerb as was blocked in by delivery lorry. No real dramas, but more secure parking preferred. Didn’t really hear any noise from downstairs. Overall, for the price, v satisfied

On arrival tried to over charge us. Was informed at time of booking,breakfast was included but never mentioned it was only continental and you have to pay extra for a cooked breakfast. The Resturant and bar staff really friendly and food in Resturant was good. Now for the room dirty makes in bedding, cobwebs from light fittings, bathroom was disgusting mouldy, dried hairs and what looked like snot in the bath.

A good find, lovely room, only downside for elderly less mobile was shower over bath but it was a great shower. Staff very attentive and polite. Food at dinner was good, freshly cooked but a little slow. Great setting and would recommend and certainly go again if in the area.

On booking in owner offered to carry our bags to our room. Food w as excellent…and well priced compared to other local establishments. Breakfast was a small menu but with the addition ‘if you want something else, ask, and we’ll see if we can do it’…and they did. We were there on night of Englands win in quarterfinal of World Cup. When we came in from the event we had been at, we were asked if we would be watching match. When we said no, the owner apologised that our room was above the terrace where the match was being screened. Even so, and with window open, the noise was less than in many sporting pubs. The fridge with milk, water and juice was welcome. All staff were excellent.
