We were in town for a fishing tournament and this place was just the ticket! It was far enough away from town that you really felt disconnected! The house was just the right size, and being able to enjoy the outdoors was a bonus!
Great property, cute home, good temperature control as we were there when it was very cold. The shower head was not working very well, but I let the owner know and he said he would take care of it. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
You feel like your in the middle of nowhere. But your only minutes from town that has everything. It was a relaxing weekend good time to de stress. Property was clean and had all we needed. Would definitely stay again
Good place to stay if you're traveling with dogs. Great layout for a container home. Shower works great, but be mindful that you are on a septic system, so spread out your water use so's not to back up the drain field (and don't flush anything except the 3 P's!).
The shipping container was very well built. It was comfortable and very pretty inside. My granddaughter and I hardly stayed around because we were busy. I highly recommend if you’ve got a big truck or an RV and you need to park somewhere while you stay for a visit in the area. The location is great a little bit of traffic noise. You really feel that you’re way out in the country. I recommend that the owner fix a few things that needed tending to. I also recommend that under the awning there needs to be some type of deck or platform Overall, it is a great place to stay
Aside from it being difficult to find in the dark, we enjoyed our stay. There is a new gate and no identifying markers. Address numbers on the road would’ve been incredibly helpful, hopefully they’ll be added in the future or at least updating the check in information with more detailed directions (just before the guardrails at the curve in the road, gate closed but not locked, etc. ). The place was very clean and comfortable though.
I loved my stay at this adorable container home. The host was very responsive. The home was nicely designed, clean with thoughtful details. The hot water heater ran a bit scalding then cool but the shower has a luxurious stone floor and small home living always has adjusting. The property was wooded and had a lovely path that went around a pond. Best of all, I was so close to Sweet Berry Farms, Downtown Marble Falls and all things in the Highland Lakes area!
This place was exactly what my wife and I were looking for : Great central location in the hill country to visit state parks and natural scenery, close to town while still feeling isolated and private and beautiful property to explore. We didn't even have to leave the property to enjoy the perks of being in the hill country. We saw and enjoyed lots of wildlife including birds, lizards, armadillos, bobcats and even a group of wild turkeys! Saw deer sign in the area, but sadly no deer sightings on property. That being said, if you want a place to relax, enjoy wildlife and have a home base for hiking/fishing, this place is great! Gets a little hot in the bedroom, but cranking the AC seemed to help. Overall 5 stars out of 5 for the lovely memories and wildlife luck we had. Highly recommend booking a stay here.
The stay was very relaxing, I mean who wouldn't enjoy being the only thing on a beautiful lot. The scenery was beautiful, even had some doe graze by the house while we sat outside and enjoyed the fire pit. The location is perfect, right outside the city life and right next to the super fun Sweet Berry Farm. The house was clean and cozy had everything we needed.
The only con and yes I know because you are staying in a container home, the water pressure in the shower was lacking. However, didn't affect the wonderful stay we had. The hosts were very communicative before check in. Even communicated where to find everything for the house for ease of check in and settling in.
We plan on visiting again, thank you again for a lovely stay!
Really enjoyed the large pasture for our dogs to run. They did an excellent job converting a shipping container into a place to stay. It was surprisingly roomy. The bed was comfortable. Shower was great.
Lil’ Toddy was a perfect place for our 6th anniversary get away. It’s off the beaten path but still close enough to do what we wanted. We saw wildlife which was cool. It was quiet and peaceful. Can’t wait to book another trip.
This was exactly what I needed. The land was more than expected even though it was listed. Wish I could have utilized more. The location was perfect for the hiking I did at the nearby state parks. I’ll definitely be back when time permits!
The cabin was clean, and the property was nice. The only issues we encountered were that the water supply went off both nights, which isn't ideal when you're trying to shower and use the restroom in the morning. The overall cabin was as advertised. I sleep hot, so the bedroom is at the opposite end from the mini split, which means you don't get adequate airflow into the bedroom. Plus, the mattress has a plastic protector on it, which makes me sweat at night. The area outside under the patio could use some cleanup, but it served its purpose as a temporary place to stay for a couple of nights, where I didn't have to worry about anyone messing with my truck or trailer.
