Coral Lagoon Single Family Home 3bed/2.5bath with 40' Boat Slip w/ Power + Water

Welcome to paradise! The Silly Sailfish is 1 of 8 stand alone single family homes within the 25 unit community and very close to the pool. (*The canal is currently CLOSED to access. From AUGUST - NOVEMBER 2025 there will be active marine construction in the canal behind the home*) The resort is located on 6 acres of mature tropical landscape oceanside immediately adjacent to Key Colony Beach and Vaca Cut. Coral Lagoon Resort offers a heated in-ground pool, use of on sight trailer storage and boat ramp (small fee applies) through the Boat House Marina. Full marina services on-site including high and dry, fuel and fish cleaning facilities.
We invite you to enjoy our clean and comfortable residence with its bright and open floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen is ready to cook and entertain. French doors open onto a large outdoor covered deck with electric grill, ample seating and beautiful water views.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and 2 full baths. The spacious Master Suite has a king bed with premium bedding, spacious closets, attached bath with walk-in shower and private balcony. The Queen Suite has a queen-sized bed with luxurious bedding and overlooks the resorts manicured lawn. The Twin Suite offers 2 twin beds and shares a full bathroom with the Queen Suite. Every bedroom has vaulted ceilings with a ceiling fan and TV with cable in addition to high-speed Wi-Fi Internet.

We were very pleased with this house - very clean and comfortable! It will be even better when the canal construction fencing is down and the use of the canal is restored -- we plan to return, maybe with our boat next time!

Perfect location

This house was in the perfect spot to go north or south for adventures. There was a fence up all around the canal, that wasn’t ideal. Also, you cannot fish in the canal. Winn Dixie and Publix is right down the road. Make sure to get Tupperware or ziplock bags. There’s nothing to store your food in there. The grill is an electric griddle. They do provide beach type towels and I suggest sombrero beach. It’s 5.5 miles south and you can take alcohol even though online it says you can’t. The pool is nice at the house too. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 5 nights and the place was awesome. The host was quick to respond and made the entire process very simple. Wonderful trip to Marathon

While visiting Marathon, we opted for this unit. It was bright, comfortable and reasonably priced. The people we met while staying here were friendly. The pool is quiet and the property is well maintained.

The Ultimate Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coral Lagoon. The community has a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. Silly Sailfish was perfect for a family and friends getaway. The place was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to relax and kickback. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place

The only problem we had was when we arrived there was a fence that surrounded the property along the waterway so we couldn't access the seawall for kayaks, boats etc. We understand that things need to get fixed, although it would have been nice to have been alerted to the non access. The internet was broken and required a new modem and the host was quick to respond and get a tech out the next morning.

Quick getaway

Very clean and pretty home located in center of the Keys. We had plenty of room to spread out and slept well. The beach towels came in handy but be aware that you will need your own cooler and beach accessories if desired. For checkout, we were asked to do more chores than what’s typical. Oh well. Overwell, we had a good stay in this pleasant home.

Not pet friendly, not people friendly.

I rented this property for 10 nights because they accept dogs. I was looking for a quiet place to rest with my animals and my 3 yr. old grandson. Unfortunately, I was yelled at and threatened by a man staying two houses away because my dogs occasionally barked during feedings outside on the deck. He also accused me of leaving the dogs tied down outside. I explained that I tied them during feedings because the standard poodle that I just rescued tries to eat my other dog's food. Nothing I said stopped his aggressiveness. The owner of the property called me 5 minutes later to voice his complaints. I asked him if he knew who the aggressive man was, and he said no. I felt very scared and vulnerable staying there, so I left the same evening. I drove home distressed and very disappointed. I think my stress level was higher than before! I asked the owner to refund the 4 nights left but never got an answer. Honestly this is not a community for dogs or a good place to go relax. The homes are too close to one another, and you can hear other people's conversations from other decks. That also distressed my dogs. The grass areas are not treated for bugs and my dogs came back with ticks and fleas. It was a horrible experience. And yes, the home was nice and clean but that is not everything you need to have a great vacation. Going there was a mistake.

We had a wonderful stay. It was clean, and everyone was happy with their bedroom. There was lots of room to accomodate all 6 of us. The pool was also very nice. The location was great we were able to take a day trip to Key West and we enjoyed going to Bahia Honda State Park. We had an enjoyable family vacation. Jeff was quick to respond to our inquiries.

We have stayed on site several times. It’s an excellent spot. Very quiet. Currently the boat channel is under repair. We will stay here again if the opportunity arises

Great time at Coral Lagoon

The place is EXACTLY as advertised. Host was immediately responsive. The place was VERY clean, and comfortable! Convenient location for anything you want to do in the Keys. Walking distance to a couple of good restaurants - we highly recommend Island Fish Company! The pool was lovely and relaxing. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the memories!

It was very clean, but there were fees for boat and you are required to have insurance for your vessel which was not stated prior to booking. The owner is VERY responsive to any questions or issues you may have which is amazing but it would've been nice to know aboutsthe insurance
