Spectacular 4 bedroom, 3 bath oceanfront bungalow estate. Perfect for family, sports, nature and relaxation. Available for check in/out on Saturdays only.
The rambling bungalow is nestled picturesquely in tropical gardens and is perched on the ocean. It’s divided into 2 separate wings. The West Wing (main house) and East Wing are connected by an exterior gated breezeway roadside and a huge deck with bbq and outdoor living space, ocean side. Within the main house you’ll enjoy the old world charm of Florida keys with open beam ceilings and large principle rooms. It was fully renovated, decorated and modernized after Hurricane Irma.
The kitchen has all conveniences to cook up a great meal to enjoy at the oversized wooden dining table which easily seats 8 and a high chair, or alternatively, dine under the stars on the patio. We know it’s difficult stepping into a new kitchen, so we made sure the kitchen is organized, easy to use and intuitive with most small appliances, bakeware, cookware and tools you’ll need and then some. There are a stainless turkey roaster and lobster pot, too. The eating experience should be memorable, so we provide quality matching dishes, glassware and cutlery.
Off the kitchen and large dining area, the living room with windows on all sides offers stunning panoramic views of the ocean and garden. Here, too, find the unique dolphin table and enjoy the 65 Inch Roku tv, with cable. High speed internet is available throughout the house and most of the property. Also, within the main house are a large bathroom and 2 bedrooms, the master with a king bed and small ensuite bathroom, and a smaller bedroom with a queen bed. Both look out to the ocean.
The East Wing has two more bedrooms, a quirky-styled bathroom and a retro sitting area equipped with a small fridge, microwave and Keurig machine for that morning coffee or late snack. The roadside bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed and a crib. The master has a king bed with a window and sliding door facing the ocean.
But, why are we here? It's the wide endless ocean.! To that end, Ocean Pearl Estate showcases everything possible.
The shore line, like the house, is divided into 2 distinct areas. A seawall protects the swimming pool, fire pit, and sandy observation area where there are plenty of loungers and Adirondack chairs, while the natural sandy (sometimes weedy) beach and small boat ramp offer easy access to the ocean with the kayaks and stand-up boards .
Some of our favorite seaside activities are:
1. Exploring the diverse shoreline with the standup board keeping a sharp lookout for nurse sharks, rays, turtles and fish.
2. At low tide, strolling on the sandbar with its myriad of birds. It’s a short distance from shore on a spongy bottom.
3. Bird watching. Oceanside is special. You'll see flocks of ibis, majestic white egrets, pelicans, ospreys, turkey vultures, and wide winged frigates to name a few. If you're lucky, our pair of bald eagles will stop by, or the rare reddish egret will dance at low tide.
4. Sun tanning poolside.
5. Challenging each other to a game of bocce or corn hole toss.
6. For large groups, there is an easy to erect volley ball set.
7. Some guests even fish from the kayaks or shore at high tide.
8. Chilling under the stars with a glass of wine, listening to the gentle waves lap against the seawall
