"My Nephew and I rented the apartment for 21 days. We did not have a car but We enjoyed that we could walk to so many locations. 2 markets and a fresh fruit and vegetables store with in a short walk. We found a couple of great pastry places across the street from the apartment and one that does exceptionally good Gelato. They make it fresh each day along with many pastries. We also found a local coffee shop that was open at 5am - 11pm. They had pastries they made, pizza and sandwiches. A very...

Swimming pool, wellness and relax in the hills of Bologna
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (41)
"We stayed in the Garden unit for 9 days in mid July. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. The only issue we had was the heat. Unfortunately there were heat warnings throughout this part of Europe in July and the property is not set up yet to deal with...

Old manor house
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (30)
"We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

Splendid Villa Monte Quercione
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (10)
"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."

"Perfect position for centre of Modena. The apartment is very small and well appointed, it has everything needed for a short stay. Bed is comfortable and it is a good place for a good night sleep as it is very quiet. The apartment is reached by a lift which takes you to the third floor then one flight of steep stairs up tp the fourth floor. Wifi was good as it was good to have to TVs. Host is friendly and pro-active. She welcomed us with a nice fruit basket and a bottle of wine. We found...

"The views from this property are absolutely breathtaking! While the property is not near any major sights, it is peaceful and beautiful. Fernanda was very responsive to my questions and her husband assisted us in guiding us around the area to point out places to eat and shop with. The pool was enjoyed by the family and we also also had a fabulous dinner grilling outside on the property. The pictures shown on this sight are accurate."

"If you are looking to be centrally located in this area, this is the place. We explored Bologna, Modena, and Parma, along with local parmigiano, and balsamico “factories” (actually very small), stay here! Tiziano was very helpful and his boxer Beatrice is very friendly. We loved the yard and sitting under the portico. The weather was a little cool, but we did have a few warm afternoons. Sunsets are beautiful over the hills. The flat had everything we needed. There were no English channels on the...

"We spent 8 days at Casa Beghino. It was truly a memorable experience. Most importantly, the hosts Jon and Jose were exceptional! Their kindness, hospitality, generosity and attention to detail was beyond our expectations. The villa was beautifully appointed with everything we needed to get started. Jon and Jose greeted us with Prosecco and snacks on a patio overlooking their unobstructed views of hills and valleys that surround their home. "Guiglia is a wonderful small town that's centrally located in Emilia Romagna. We are 2 couples that stayed for a week and the location was a centrally located to Bologna, Modena and Parma. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
