When I arrived, the staff could not find my booking. After being there for over an hour, they eventually allowed me to have an inferior room to what I booked. I had to get quite blunt with them and speak to superiors over the phone. It's a good thing I speak Portuguese. They claimed that they don't use Expedia and that someone is posing as them. So they tried to get me to pay a second time (I had already paid through Expedia and could prove as such). AVOID THIS PLACE OR RISK BEING SCAMMED. In terms of the stay itself, my room was terrible. The door did not open and close properly, the bath was unsecured and rocking back and forth, the water from the bath ran out from under the bath to all over the floor. The staff were not prepared so they had to go find towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. Avoid this place, stay somewhere else. Not worth it. Especially after the claim that they don't use Expedia.
