Great 2 bedroom stay with a fully stocked kitchen, clean hot tub, large fenced area backing to a river for a dog and wandering toddler! The RV electrical hookup meant we had a fully charged EV everyday, close enough to Florence and the surrounds. Hosts were responsive and place was easy to find and enter.

The home was cute and fits the vibe of the area. It was well maintained and clean. The beat part is the view from the porch and hot tub.
The owners paid a lot of attention to the details of making sure we had everything we might need. The place was very comfortable with very nice amenities (stocked kitchen, extra supplies, hot tub, etc.) The view of the river was lovely. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
I spent a lovely few days enjoying the beautiful scenery and the peaceful sound of the river with my two sons and my Border Collie. The weather was hot but easy to cool off in the river. The house was really cute and I personally loved all the artwork throughout the house and property. Would definitely stay again!
Beautiful charming home, and very thoughtful hosts!
This is such a sweet, obviously very cared-for property! The house itself is warm and cozy, and very well-appointed. The space flows naturally, and it feels very loved. Jim and Mari are also excellent hosts! Everything is well stocked, from essentials and kitchenware down to small details and creature comforts that make you feel like you're in your own home. They were super responsive and helpful any time I reached out with questions. The outside of the property is gorgeous, right on a very beautiful river, and surrounded by the unmatched natural beauty that the Oregon forest has to offer. We had an absolutely wonderful stay, and are very grateful for their excellent hospitality!
The home is charming and is very well appointed with everything you will need and more. The location on the river is delightful. We fell asleep each night to the sound of the river. Photos of the river from the home cannot capture how lovely it is. If you love hanging out by a river, this is the perfect home.
The description describes RV hookups in the garage. This is true! However, the driveway is on a slant and will be difficult to level, if you have any pullouts.
The house is well set up for dogs! The yard is giant and it’s well fenced around the property.
My husband loved the history of the stage coach stop and all the photos of the old stage stop as well as the renovation story.
We had a fantastic time on the river and made day trips in Florence and the surrounding coastal areas! We would stay here again.
We are from ID/MT. We moved to the OR coast for jobs and family. We really missed the mountains and river activities. Everyone from Portland pours into our town in Summer and we lock ourselves in by 3pm on the the 4th. I wanted to do the opposite! Go inland to a river house. Our dog is so scared of fireworks and it is a war zone at home. We were alone peaceful and our baby girl cattle dog was at peace. Outstanding character history and river access!
