Gîte 'Des Taravelles' with Private Pool, Private Terrace and Wi-Fi

Located in Manzat, in the Combrailles region, Gîte des Taravelles is a renovated 80 m² accommodation for up to 4 guests. The property features two upstairs bedrooms and two bathrooms for your comfort. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room offers a TV and high-speed Wi-Fi. You will also have a washing machine, a baby cot, and a private barbecue for added convenience.



Enjoy your private garden set in a landscaped park with a decorative pond, a sheltered plancha area, and a children's playground. Relax on the covered terrace or balcony overlooking the summer pool. The private outdoor pool is available from May to October depending on the weather, and is heated with a shelter; a shower area is available on the ground floor.



Communal parking is available on site. Please note that events are not allowed on the property.



The gîte is independent, on the edge of the village, close to Gour de Tazenat, the Sioule Valley, and the Auvergne Volcanoes Park. Many activities are nearby: canoeing in Châteauneuf-les-Bains on the Sioule, rail biking in Saint-Georges-de-Mons, swimming at the Fades Besserves and Gour de Tazenat lakes, hiking in the volcanic Cheires, visits to the spa towns of Châteauneuf and Châtel-Guyon, Riom and its museums, and major tourist sites about 20 minutes away.



The cleaning fee includes pool and poolside maintenance, bed linen and towels, and cleaning of the gîte. Please leave the property as clean as you found it.

Lovely holiday

A modern, clean, beautifully presented and well equipped gite in a delightful area. The owner Christian was friendly and helpful. The pool was always pleasantly warm, even though it was September. A great area for walking with plenty of good walking guides provided in the gite. The weather was perfect. A very enjoyable stay.

Super gîte!

Le gite des Taravelles etait moderne et comfortable. Situe au pied d'un ancien volcan, c'est un paradis pour ceux qui aiment le calme et la nature. Agreeable piscine pour toute la famille. Nous recommendons ce gite pour un sejour paisible. Absolutely beautiful gîte with lovely views and very close to the Gour de Tazenat. Christian was a great host and explained all the house rules. The cottage was clean and towels and linen were provided. The pool was the perfect temperature and was enjoyed by all. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

Superb gite in the countryside

Very convenient and easy to find. Christian the owner lives on site and showed us around the property and then pretty much left us to ourselves. The property is tastefully decorated with no expense spared on the kitchen equipment with a NEFF oven and a huge American style fridge freezer plus a dishwasher and an HD TV. It was very clean with a feeling of space. An upstairs balcony which gets the morning and evening sun plus a covered area downstairs to eat. You have the run of the gardens plus of course, there is a swimming pool which is unheated and a decent size an depth throughout. One point to bear in mind is that he did ask us for the security deposit in cheque format which wasn't clear from the details we had seen. Lots of places to visit with Manzat a short car ride away where there are a few shops for bread and cheese etc plus a petrol station. One of the nicest places we have stayed in and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Destination ideale pour Rando et VTT en Auvergne

Nous avons passer de magnifiques vacances en famille au gîte Les Taravelles. Il est très bien équipé et bien situé pour faire de belles randonnées sur les volcans et faire du VTT. Le propriétaire nous a bien conseillé sur les lieux à visiter et sur une excellente boulangerie à Loubeyrat village voisin. L'endroit est très très calme et reposant,la terrasse donne sur un superbe jardin .Concernant la piscine elle était vraiment top. Superbes vacances dans un bel environnement On recommande vraiment ce gîte Merci à monsieur Chambreuil

Pure relaxation!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et - grâce à nos nombreuses excursions - nous avons également tiré de nombreux points positifs de la "météo" d'avril en juin! Christian nous a très bien accueillis et était de garde lorsque nous avions des questions ou des demandes ! La maison est très bien équipée, le wifi fonctionne sans problème, la boulangerie, la boucherie et le magasin de fromage ainsi qu'un petit Intermarché se trouvent dans le village. Nous avons utilisé le plus grand Intermarché Super à St. Georges de Mons - très pratique car il y a aussi une station-service. De nombreux prospectus pour des excursions disponibles dans la maison ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la situation calme, l'ambiance générale et nous nous sommes sentis parfaitement à l'aise ! Un séjour super agréable et reposant ! Merci à Christian pour tout !

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Wohlfühlhaus. Christian hat uns herzlich empfangen,stehts hilfsbereit,unkompliziert, zurückhaltend und aufmerksam. Séjour au calme dans une jolie petite maison pleine de charme.

La maison est charmante, parfaitement équipée et tres agréable. La piscine est spacieuse et l'eau est bien chaude. Le jardin est très bien entretenu avec jeux et balançoire, petit bassin à poissons... le tout au calme pour des vacances reposante. Je recommande.

Nous avons passé un très bon week end de l'ascension dans ce gîte de Manzat. La maison est très agréable et très bien équipée. Le jardin avec les jeux pour enfants et la piscine est vraiment un plus. Christian est un hôte très sympathique ,à l'écoute et de très bon conseil pour visiter la region. Nous recommandons ce gîte les yeux fermés

Excellent séjour en Combrailles !

Nous recommandons ce gîte où nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Idéalement situé à proximité des chemins de randonnées. Christian a été d’excellents conseils pour visiter la région. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps !

une merveilleux maison de vacances

Le gîte correspond tout à fait à la description. Il est très propre et équipé de tout confort. Christian est un bon hôte. Nos deux petits-enfants ont pu profiter du grand jardin et de la piscine propre. Ils ont aussi pu jouer avec le chien pendant des heures De plus, il existe plusieurs activités intéressantes dans la région. Que du positif, nous avons passé de bonnes vacances. Ce gîte est recommandé.

Lieu très confortable, bien équipé.

Cette location est appréciable pour un couple ou en famille avec un bon confort, bien équipé avec la piscine en extérieur qui est un plus. Petit bémol, l'accès aux chambres et toilettes à l'étage est difficile avec un escalier tournant qui debouche dans la première chambre. Il n'y a pas d'accès à l'autre chambre sans passer par la première, d'où une gêne constatée. De plus il faudrait prévoir des toilettes au RdC pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

Le gîte est fonctionnel et très bien équipé; c'est un véritable hâvre de tranquillité dans un écrin de verdure; la piscine en partie couverte est très agréable. Le propriétaire du gîte est à la fois discret et très disponible; il est aussi de bon conseil pour les visites intéressantes à faire dans la région.

Séjour reposant en Auvergne. Nous avons apprécié la piscine avec le dome. Maison joliment décoré à la campagne. La météo ne nous a pas permis de découvrir la région comme on l'aurait souhaité.
