"The property itself is beautiful. However, getting to most restaurants, the national park, or other places in town outside the property requires a car, taxi or use of the resort shuttle. The staff was incredibly helpful though in arranging for taxis or using the hotel shuttle to drop us off at restaurants on the way to their scheduled stops at the national park."

"This was an amazing find! The hotel is part inside and part outside with beautiful surroundings! The staff were so friendly and accommodating! They served a wonderful breakfast, to order, at your table overlooking the beautiful gardens. It rained a lot while we were there, so they let us borrow an umbrella for the day. The room was immaculate and so quiet! We loved our stay and will be back."

"This was our family dream trip. We splurged and went to Tulemar and it did not disappoint in the least. Awesome facility. Clean rooms. Amazing nature setting. Saw sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans and many other animals on site. Beach was beautiful. Service was top notch. Shuttle service was quick. Concierge, drivers, restaurant staff, everyone was top notch! If you go, ask your concierge to do the on site Sloth Walk, which takes you through the property to look for sloths and other animals. It was a great tour, that was economical and informative."

"Perfect location with super friendly staff. Can walk to the beach in a minute or could even walk down the beach to the National Park if you wanted. The common area is beautiful with butterflies and a deep pool that somehow always knew what temperature to be! Seriously was warm when it rained and was cooler when it was sunny! The room itself is so neat because it's super simple yet does everything you need. It also has some very unique acoustics which we enjoyed playing around with! Having off-street parking is an added bonus and the included breakfast was delicious. Can't recommend this place enough and was shocked it wasn't packed with people given how chill and fun it is!"
