You will love this home with the open floor plan with 2 bedroom and two full size bathrooms. There is a cozy fireplace in the living room and a sliding glass door in the dining area that goes out to a private patio. There are 2 full bathrooms and each bedroom has a comfy king size bed complete with a 55 inch smart TV. The home is freshly remodeled with wood flooring and the kitchen is complete with brand new stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. There is a one car attached garage for you use! You also have a washer and dryer in the home that come with complimentary laundry detergent.

Cute Duplex, Great Location

Such a clean, nicely decorated place, perfect for two people. We were here for Olivet graduation, which was an easy, short drive from here. Also very close to Main Street shops & restaurants. A train track does run by this property…while not super loud, you can hear it while awake, but it did not bother our sleep.

Very cute place

We enjoyed our stay at this super cute and cozy place in a great town. It was nice and clean and just very inviting and cozy in a nice, safe neighborhood. Ami is always a really great host! We love staying at her properties. She is always very responsive to questions.

We were in Illinois for a baby shower. The house was perfect for our extended weekend. Plenty of tvs to keep everyone happy on a lazy day of vacation as well.

Shoefest

Great stay for Shoefest. Great neighborhood. Trains run behind the house on a regular basis but do not use their horn. Vegetation and trees cover the tracks and trains.

Nice accamodation

This was the second time we had stayed in this lovely home. It was clean and comfortable, close to the park to enjoy morning or evening walks. The only downside is the close proximity to the train tracks, so you might need earplugs. Other than that it is a very nice place.

Ami was such a pleasure to deal with! We had an emergency that required us to change our plans. Ami didn't hesitate to work with us. When we finally arrive, we couldn't have been happier with the rental unit. It was clean and well managed. It was like checking into a fine hotel. A well-maintained, cozy home in a nice area

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was in good shape, and the king beds in both rooms were great. (Ami assured us that the remarks about one of the beds in an earlier review were addressed.) We slept very comfortably there. The neighborhood is clean and quiet, there's a grocery store and a number of dining options right in Manteno, and many more if you want to travel 10 minutes south. Having an enclosed garage was a nice plus. There's a TV in every room, comfortable furniture, just a nice setting all around. And Ami was super helpful and quick to respond to a couple of perhaps unusual requests (such as needing a shower chair). There are two things I think a potential guest should be aware of: The water pressure was not strong (better in the second bathroom due to the type of shower head). And the trains. The tracks are out of sight but not that far off. There is tree coverage between them and the house, but I imagine the sound buffering is better in the summer than the winter/early spring. That said, while we noticed a couple of long, loud trains the first night, we grew accustomed to the sound after that and largely enjoyed hearing the occasional train roll by, day or night.

Photos do not show how spacious and updated this property is. Comfortable master bed. Quiet nice neighborhood but full disclosure it is near a train track but that did not bother us. Host is thoughtful with coffee and some small snacks.

Pet Friendly Walking Paths

Much nicer than the pictures on line. Very clean well maintained. 2 bathrooms a plus. French doors on 2nd bedroom are a great idea. Very classy. Kitchen had all upscale appliances and nice granite countertops.Pet friendly, great for your furry friend. Cleanest pet friendly we've ever stayed in. No evidence of previous pets. This is a very cute home and well maintained and decorated. It’s advertised as sleeping six people but only has two king beds. The other bed is an inflatable mattress which really there’s no room for. It should be advertised as sleeping 4. The home is also near train tracks so we were awoken five or six times by trains during the night.
