I loved the decorum. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean. I would have given 5 stars but there breakfast was difficult for me. There wasn't much for someone who is diebtic. Nevertheless, my over all experience was great. I will definitely be back.

Ok hotel, friendly staff, just outdated

Not the cleanest/newest hotel. It was ok, but TV didnt work, front desk told me you had to play with the power button under the TV, and I could turn it on, but wouldnt play anything, just a bright blank screen. Tried calling the front desk and no answer. Just an outdated hotel.

Review of Fairfield Inn & Suites in Mansfield

The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Mansfield/ Ontario Ohio is a very clean, comfortable, and ecstatically pleasing. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Overall, I just thought the price at $200 was rather high for the Mansfield area. The only criticism of the room is the bathroom light is very dim.

They are in the middle of remodeling so it’s very loud during the day. The ice machine isn’t accessible due to construction and the front desk doesn’t have access to ice AND their little store didn’t have any water. The pool is closed for construction. When I checked in, the room had an issue with the leaking "P" trap on the bathroom sink. Needless to say that first night was interesting using the sink. I reported it the following morning and the front desk person said, "I've had a service order on that for a few days, and they shouldn't have rented that room to you." I was gone for the remainder of the day and the leak was fixed. Everything was satisfactory from that point on.

The facility is fine. I received an email the day before checking in to ask me to pre-register. I was informed that all I had to do was stop by the front desk for my door key. I was also told that I would receive a text message when my room was ready for me. When I arrived I had to go through the same normal procedures - show ID, present credit card, etc. No text telling me that my room was ready. Once I got to my room I received a text message ten minutes later telling me my room was ready. When I went to get some ice I found out that the only ice machine in the building was on the first floor - I was on the third.
