  • Enjoy all that Lake Marion has to offer during your stay at this Delightful Lakefront Home in desirable White Oak II off of Wyboo Creek. House is located in front of the famous sandbar!!!

    Cozy, Custom Designed and Custom Built. This Lake Marion home with Private Dock was completed April 2010 and has just added 2bedrooms and the 3rd full bath in 2023. Built with modern conveniences but having the old-world charm of cypress paneling and a whimsical, retro decor. Huge screen porch overlooks sunsets on the cove.

    An excellent spot for Family Vacations, bring the kids and the grandparents. Relax on the screened porch and take in the View. Grill out in the underneath parking area complete with outside shower and fish cleaning sink. Put your boat in at the public landing around the corner and keep your boat tied up at the private dock for the duration of your visit. Swim, fish and kayak off the dock. Golf Courses nearby and Historic Charleston is just a little over an hour away. Lake Living at its Best - Ya'll will have a Relaxing and Enjoyable visit.

    Note: This Home is Nestled Amongst Permanent Residents. Guests Are to Be Respectful and Courteous.

This property exceeded our expectations. Three couples, life long friends, the youngest of which was 78 for a "reunion". ..Could not have been more enjoyable. This property has plenty of room, bigger on the inside, than it appears from the outside. Great neighbors on each side that like to visit and share info about the neighborhood and lake. Don't miss McCabes Bar B Q in Manning. A word of caution, the stairs can be a little challenging for some senior citizens but we wouldn't hesitate to stay again!. .

The house was great! The layout was perfect for our 4 adults and 4 children. The house was mostly clean. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. While it does say it's pet-friendly, the neighborhood does not require leashes, so there were a lot of free-roaming dogs hanging out at the house that triggered our dog. The hosts were easy to reach and helpful the few times we reached out. We enjoyed the views and the fire pit outdoors. Overall, we would recommend this house.

Beautiful Area

We had a great time staying at The Big Red House! It accommodated all 12 of us perfectly. It was very clean and the neighbors on both sides were super friendly! Will definitely stay again!

Golf Trip

We had seven golfers that stayed very comfortable on the property. Very clean and everything you need for a nice vacation. Would highly recommend staying at the Big Red House.

Very nice

We enjoyed our stay here for Thanksgiving. The house is very nice inside and out.Everything was clean, easy check in and staying in touch with the manager. I’m sure this is an amazing place for the summer time.

Perfect vacation rental

Booked the big red house for our family trip between Christmas and New Year’s Day and we were not disappointed! The house was very clean and very well stocked. Sunrises and sunsets over the water from the screened in porch or breathtaking. We hope to book this house again for our summer family trip!

Big Red House does not disappoint! Peace and quiet with an amazing view !

Needed a quiet getaway and the Big Red House did not disappoint! It’s an amazing place with everything you need! Very clean and spacious with an amazing screened in back porch with plenty of space to sit back and relax! The dock was fun to fish off of and to watch the boats go by! Will plan another trip there!

Good for a relaxing get away.

This is a cute, nicely updated cabin. It is out in the middle of nowhere which was hard for us. 20 plus minutes to get groceries or find a restaurant. (Georgio’s in Manning was amazing) The lake and dock were great and it was nice they had water toys available.

Girls trip

Great screened in porch with wonderful view of the lake. Comfortable house and beds. Well equipped but frying pans could use replacement and more wine glasses. We loved the fire pit and dock. Communication with owners was excellent. Would recommend.
